It's great to see Pico expanding its hardware ecosystem with AMD enterprise solutions. Electronic trading and market data infrastructure continue to demand high performance, high throughput, and efficient networking at scale. Our AMD Solarflare X4 Ethernet Adapters, combined with AMD EPYC processors, are engineered to deliver the performance that latency-sensitive financial markets require. Collaborations like this help firms push the boundaries of what is possible across trading workloads and analytics infrastructure. Congratulations to the Pico team on this announcement, excited to continue our work together and support Pico clients as they pursue higher performance outcomes. We’re pleased to announce that Pico has expanded its hardware ecosystem with AMD enterprise solutions, integrating high-performance AMD technologies across our Corvil Analytics and Redline Software products, including the Corvil 12000. This collaboration allows clients to leverage the latest innovations and remain competitive in rapidly evolving markets. “Pico is excited to expand our hardware ecosystem to include powerful AMD enterprise solutions,” said Seetharam Gorre, Chief Information Officer at Pico. “Our clients rely on us to deliver the most advanced infrastructure available. With AMD, we are expanding options that can unlock latency and throughput advantages, helping firms accelerate strategies and achieve superior outcomes.” Find the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/e3eCP9ec #Pico #FinancialMarkets #AMD #Corvil #Redline #Trading #Analytics

We’re proud to announce that AMD is now a Gold Sponsor of Nav2, the open-source navigation framework powering autonomous mobile robots worldwide. Through this collaboration with Open Navigation LLC, AMD will help advance high-performance, scalable robotics — optimizing Nav2 performance for AMD adaptive SoCs, CPUs, GPUs, and FPGAs to accelerate innovation at the intersection of hardware and autonomy. Details 👇 I'm so excited to announce as part of #ROSCon2025 a new #Nav2 sponsor: AMD! They are providing the Nav2 and ROS communities with high-performance and adaptive computing solutions that empower robotics and autonomous systems with embedded SoCs, FPGAs, and Ryzen CPUs, and Radeon GPUs. We're going to work together to improve ROS 2 and Nav2 to be more optimized to run on AMD's hardware and libraries. You can read more about the details on out blog: https://lnkd.in/gUZ82bHv

Andrew Ng we 👀 you. Learn how to fine-tune and align LLMs with AMD’s own Sharon Zhou, PhD in this new DeepLearning.AI course, "Fine-tuning and Reinforcement Learning for LLMs: Intro to Post-training." An exciting new course: Fine-tuning and Reinforcement Learning for LLMs: Intro to Post-training, taught by Sharon Zhou, PhD, VP of AI at AMD. Available now at DeepLearning.AI. Post-training is the key technique used by frontier labs to turn a base LLM--a model trained on massive unlabeled text to predict the next word/token--into a helpful, reliable assistant that can follow instructions. I've also seen many applications where post-training is what turns a demo application that works only 80% of the time into a reliable system that consistently performs. This course will teach you the most important post-training techniques! In this 5 module course, Sharon walks you through the complete post-training pipeline: supervised fine-tuning, reward modeling, RLHF, and techniques like PPO and GRPO. You'll also learn to use LoRA for efficient training, and to design evals that catch problems before and after deployment. Skills you'll gain: - Apply supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning (RLHF, PPO, GRPO) to align models to desired behaviors - Use LoRA for efficient fine-tuning without retraining entire models - Prepare datasets and generate synthetic data for post-training - Understand how to operate LLM production pipelines, with go/no-go decision points and feedback loops These advanced methods aren’t limited to frontier AI labs anymore, and you can now use them in your own applications.
