Every brand touchpoint is an opportunity. An opportunity to strengthen your brand. Or a chance to dilute it. That includes your sales, onboarding/offboarding, and especially your marketing collateral — emails, socials, and your website (down to your 404 page). Yeah, most people might not see it. But if they do, you have an excellent opportunity to delight them. Make even the most challenging parts of doing business with you less painful — dare I say, delightful — and that's how your brand gains brownie points. Get enough brownie points, and that's how you build brand loyalty. Coca-Cola knows a thing or two about loyalty. Ever ask for Coke at a restaurant? To which the server sheepishly replies, "Is Pepsi okay?!?" These days, loyalty is fleeting. Brands can't afford to risk losing trust. Don't let little mistakes hold you back. Still riding this high... but wow! Last week, at the EO Accelerator Arizona EOY party — I ironically had to miss because of business things — I was named Board Member of the Year! Like, What?! Entrepreneurship is f**king hard sometimes, and this community has helped me so much. So when I was asked to join the board this year, it was a no-brainer. Just like our chosen theme, I went ALL IN to help our members get the most out of their Quarterly Learning Days. I'm blessed and lucky to have been a part of this journey!

Every year Entrepreneurs' Organization chooses a theme for the year. EOA Arizona chose the theme "ALL IN" this year. As a board member, I had our team at Attic Salt® develop the brand and visual identity system to streamline our marketing efforts and inspire members to get immersed in the program. We leaned into the world of poker for verbal, visual, and behavioral inspiration. This brand was successful, but not because it is visually appealing. It’s because it helped our board deliver on our mission to help more entrepreneurs scale their business. We knew from the data that the most successful entrepreneurs were the most engaged. So how might we get more members to do the same. Enter the “ALL IN” theme and brand. More than just a cool logo ALL IN was our rallying cry. It was a reminder for members that’s success meant being fully present on learning days, being more engaged with fellow community members, and more invested in the growth of their business. It was also a daily reminder for board members to create more moments of surprise and delight to enhance the experience for everyone. The most exciting part was seeing the rest of the board own this brand and run with. So thankful to Ashley Richards for the opportunity and for the support of Paige Wolvos and Brennah Davis for implementing this so successfully across all touchpoints.
