Around the world, millions of thin-file borrowers are overlooked because their financial lives are too costly and complex to assess. Their credit histories are buried in messy documents that legacy systems can’t read, leaving lenders to spend hours reviewing files and chasing missing information. What started as a dorm room project has now evolved into a global platform helping lenders get capital into the hands of those who need it most. I’m thrilled to announce Genera has raised $10m, led by First Round Capital, to solve the most important problem in enterprise AI: closing the deployment gap. Genera is the AI deployment company for the new generation of AI leaders. Unlike legacy system integrators that bill by the hour to implement software, we automate routine work with agents (discovery, migrations, configuration, testing) and only charge for outcomes. Rather than hearing it from us, I figured I’d let one of our customers do the talking… Since the weekend ChatGPT launched, Fin has made one bold bet after another to reinvent the company for the AI era. Their deployment motion has been at the center of this transformation. With Genera, data migrations that used to take eight weeks are now done in 11 days.
