Today at Boden’s Halloween celebration, Lauren Gongora-De Los Santos and I came as El Chavo and La Chilindrina, a tribute to El Chavo del Ocho, the beloved Mexican show that became a cultural icon with Hispanics across the world (and that got a ton of attention on SNL a few weeks go! Shoutout to Marcelo Hernández and Sarah Sherman for bringing this classic duo back!) Lauren and I, keeping it ‘business-related” titled it “60% of the U.S. Hispanic market,” 🇲🇽 a nod to the fact that Mexicans make up the majority of the 68 million Hispanics in the U.S. today. At a time when our country feels divided in so many ways, celebrating who we are, and the cultures that shape us, feels so important. The team generated nationwide excitement around the meal, which brought magical moments to the Golden Arches and fans across generations through efforts including: 🍟 Breaking through with a wide range of media across food, music, entertainment, culture and lifestyle verticals. Top outlets, including TODAY, Food Network, Parade, El Diario, AllKPop.com, Billboard and HYPEBEAST spotlighted TinyTAN’s Happy Meal takeover, underscoring its wide cultural appeal. 💜 Hosting a VIP Preview of the TinyTAN Magic Meetup in LA. In collaboration with IW Group, we transported media and influencer fans to a world of music, gaming, and Happy Meal magic at the TinyTAN Magic Meetup. 🎵 Delivering a premium mailer experience. We dropped premium musical mailers to press and creators (complete with a McDonald’s disco ball!) and an interactive TinyTAN stage that doubled as a toy carry case, which turned unboxings into mini-concert moments across social.
