Looking back to October, we celebrated the impact of Black History Month UK. Our Barings Black Network employee resource group held two events this month focused on this year’s theme, Reclaiming Narratives. Award-winning filmmaker, activist, and youth coach, AMANI SIMPSON shared his inspirational story. He focused on always finding a way to add value to others through his life experiences. To conclude the celebrations, London teammates joined together for an event to unveil the latest Barings Black Heritage Art Collection and to enjoy Afro-Caribbean-inspired food and music. These events provided opportunities to learn, connect, and reflect.
