A spreadsheet can tell you who your clients are and when you last contacted them. But can someone else on your team quickly see what happened, who owns the relationship, and what needs to happen next? For a small team, a spreadsheet may be all you need. A few consistent habits can make client tracking more reliable: 🔹 Keep one shared record. Make sure everyone knows where to find the latest client information. 🔹 Set clear ownership. Assign one person to each client and give every next step an owner and a due date. 🔹 Use consistent statuses and dates. Agree on what each status means and record follow-ups, renewals, and review dates in the same format. These habits work well when one person or a small team manages client relationships. But when sales, account management, and delivery all work with the same client, important details can end up in separate inboxes, calendars, and personal notes. It then takes extra time to piece together the account history, and a follow-up can be missed because it wasn't visible to the rest of the team. A CRM gives the team a shared record of client activity, ownership, and next steps. In Bitrix24 CRM, you can: 🔹 Keep client history together → Give the team access to customer details and related activity. 🔹 Make deal progress visible → Track opportunities through sales pipeline stages. 🔹 Keep follow-ups connected to the work → Connect client records with tasks, deadlines, and upcoming activities. 🔹 Make handovers easier → Let the next person see the client history and outstanding tasks. Our guide explains how to make spreadsheet-based client tracking more reliable, what warning signs to look for as coordination becomes more difficult, and when a CRM is worth considering. 🔒 PHP Security Update All PHP security updates have been applied to Bitrix24 cloud accounts, and all temporarily restricted features have been restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Your data security remains our top priority. #Bitrix24 #SecurityUpdate

Important PHP Security Update: What Cloud and On-Premise Bitrix24 Users Need to Know The vulnerabilities were found not in the Bitrix24 code, but in an external component — PHP. This is a server-side technology used by many websites and services, including Bitrix24. The PHP developers have reported two critical vulnerabilities. The fixes are scheduled for release today, October 21. ☁️ If you use cloud Bitrix24 You do not need to update PHP for your portal yourself — our team maintains the servers. We will take the necessary measures to keep our cloud customers secure. If necessary, we will temporarily disable certain Bitrix24 features until the fixes are installed and the required security checks are completed. We understand that such restrictions may affect your usual workflow. But if they are required, we will introduce them to reduce the risk to your data while the threat is being addressed. File uploads are the first priority. We will restore the features once their safe operation has been verified. The security of your data is our number one priority! 🖥 If you use on-premise Bitrix24 The PHP update on your server must be installed by the specialist who maintains it. Forward this message right now to your system administrator, your servicing partner, or your hosting provider. Ask them to: — check the PHP version in use and prepare the update; — promptly install the required fixes once they are released; — verify that the website or portal works properly after the update. PHP is updated separately from the Bitrix24 product itself — at the server level. You do not need to deal with the technical settings yourself: hand the task over to a specialist. This information is current as of October 21, 2026.

A CRM can have all the right features, but which ones does your team actually need? For some teams, it's all about keeping customer information organized. For others, it's making follow-ups easier, automating routine tasks, or tracking sales performance. 💬 Tell us what your team looks for in a CRM. #CRM #Sales #BusinessSoftware #SalesAutomation #CustomerExperience

The weekly project meeting has started, but people are still checking chats and task lists to figure out what’s been done. Before the team can make decisions, someone has to piece together the latest updates. Grove Group wanted a better way to manage work across distribution, retail, supply chain, and logistics. The company started testing Bitrix24 with a 250-person team, focusing on task and project management, internal communication, and work reports. There are a few practical lessons other teams can take from this approach: 🔹 Make ownership clear. A meeting ends with “let’s do that,” but nobody knows who’s responsible. Creating a task with an owner and a due date gives everyone a clear next step and a place to check progress. 🔹 Keep details with the task. A client requests a change, but the message gets buried in chat. Someone follows the old instructions and has to redo the work. Keeping comments and files with the task makes the latest information easier to find and helps colleagues pick up work without a long handover. 🔹 Make progress visible. One person may be waiting for another to finish before they can start. When task statuses are up to date, teammates can see what’s ready to move forward, and managers can spot delays before they hold up the next step. A month after the initial test, Grove Group was ready to roll out Bitrix24 to 5,000 employees. The company also highlighted the importance of an experienced implementation partner, a clear plan, and expert support throughout the process. You can start small, too. Pick one recurring task in your team and look at where people have to stop and ask for updates or missing details. That’s a good place to start improving the process. 🗓️ A full calendar doesn’t always mean a productive day. Meetings, messages, and small requests can take up most of your time, leaving important work to be pushed to tomorrow. Time blocking helps you plan for that work instead of fitting it in whenever you can. The idea is to reserve time for specific tasks while leaving room for the unexpected. A good schedule should help you prioritize, not make every hour feel booked. Here are three ways to put it into practice: ◾ Protect your best hours. Schedule demanding tasks when you can concentrate best, and limit interruptions during that time. ◾ Group similar tasks. Set aside time for emails, meetings, and admin work instead of switching between them throughout the day. ◾ Leave room to adjust. Build in buffer time and review your priorities regularly so one unexpected request doesn't throw off the rest of your schedule. In Bitrix24, you can block time for focused work in your calendar, connect it to specific tasks and deadlines, and track progress on larger projects. That way, your schedule reflects not just your meetings, but also the work you need to get done. 💡 The carousel covers five more techniques, including how to work with your energy levels, protect personal time, and break larger goals into manageable steps. You can find the full guide in the first comment. How do you make time for focused work? #TimeManagement #Productivity #Bitrix24

Getting a website online is one thing. Making sure it actually helps your business run is another. Someone visits your site, likes what they see, and fills out a contact form. Great. But then what? Does the inquiry reach the right person, or does someone have to copy the details into the CRM and figure out who should follow up? With Bitrix24, you can connect your website or landing page directly to your CRM. Inquiries can go straight into your sales process, and visitors can reach your team through contact forms, live chat, or callback options. And you don't need coding skills to build the site. Here are four ways to make the most of it: 💡 Start with a template. Use a ready-made design as a starting point and adapt the pages to your business instead of building everything from scratch. 💡 Keep new inquiries organized. Connect website forms to your CRM so your team can track incoming leads and manage follow-ups in one place. 💡 Give visitors more ways to connect. Add live chat or callback options for people who would rather speak with someone than fill out a form. 💡 Use AI to get started faster. Generate an initial draft of your copy or page layout with CoPilot, then edit it to reflect your brand and what your customers need to know. Your website is just the starting point. What happens after a visitor gets in touch matters just as much, and connecting your site to your CRM helps your team keep track of the next steps. 📌 With the Bitrix24 website builder, you can create your own website and connect it to your CRM without coding. The link is in the first comment. How closely is your website connected to your sales process today? #WebsiteBuilder #CRM #LeadManagement #SmallBusiness #Bitrix24
