NG-2 Update: New Glenn is ready to launch. However, due to highly elevated solar activity and its potential effects on the ESCAPADE spacecraft, NASA is postponing launch until space weather conditions improve. We are currently assessing opportunities to establish our next launch window based on forecasted space weather and range availability.

We’re grateful to the veterans who have chosen to join Team Blue! More than 10% of our employees are U.S. military veterans, bringing valuable service experience to our mission of building the road to space for the benefit of Earth.
This Veterans Day, we honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, including the many men and women at Blue Origin who have served our country. Eric Henriksen, New Shepard’s lead friction stir weld operator and U.S. Air Force Veteran, started his career at Blue Origin through our partnership with the U.S. military’s SkillBridge program to support transitioning service members and their families through separations and retirements. He knew he wanted to build rockets years ahead of his retirement, and now, he helps shape the future of human spaceflight on the New Shepard program. Veterans bring varied perspectives and an unyielding dedication to Blue’s vision of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. Their leadership, honed through experience in mission-critical environments, is helping Blue advance that vision.
