🚨 Big News from Whizz! 🚨 We’re proud to share that Whizz has been awarded a contract by NYC DOT to supply nearly 500 certified e-bikes and 1,000 batteries as part of the city’s groundbreaking E-Bike Trade-In program. This initiative is a major step toward reducing the risk of lithium-ion battery fires — over 400 incidents have occurred in the past two years alone, largely due to unsafe, unregulated e-bikes flooding the delivery market. The program gives delivery workers a chance to trade in dangerous vehicles for safe, UL-certified bikes — and Whizz is honored to be part of the solution. 🔋 Why this matters to us: For years, we’ve built a product designed specifically for delivery professionals — from long-range batteries and free on-demand repairs, to anti-theft features and flexible plans.
