  • Your network can change the trajectory of your career. But where do you start? As women in tech, we often hear “network more”, “put yourself out there”, or “build connections.” But no one really tells us how to do it. How do you approach someone you admire? How do you start a conversation without feeling awkward? How do you build genuine professional relationships? And most importantly, how do you turn those connections into opportunities, mentorship, and growth? At Girls Leading Tech, we believe that having access to the right people, conversations, and guidance can make a huge difference in a woman’s journey in technology. That’s why we’re excited to host a virtual mentorship session on: How to Build & Leverage Your Network 📅 19 September at 11:00 AM on Google Meet. Register Now - https://luma.com/j0ccc25r Share it with fellow girlies, who also want to master this art from our amazing speaker. Shweta Sharma brings years of experience across Intel, Microsoft, and Pandora, along with her entrepreneurial journey as the co-founder of iHind. A passionate advocate for women in technology, AI, innovation, and inclusion, she has also spoken at platforms like Grace Hopper and Women in Tech. In this session, she’ll be sharing practical insights on how aspiring women in tech can: → Build an authentic professional network → Network with confidence → Approach industry professionals and mentors → Make meaningful connections on LinkedIn → Nurture relationships beyond a first conversation → Leverage their network for mentorship, opportunities, and growth Sometimes, the opportunity you’re looking for isn’t just about what you know; it’s also about whom you connect with. PS - Thanks to Ananya Agarwal for creating the poster for being our host for this amazing session.

From 12k in June to 13k by the end of July… honestly, We are still processing this. 😭✨ We can’t believe that back in May, we were sitting at 11k, planning out strategies, wondering how we were going to reach more people, and constantly asking ourselves: how do we help more girls in tech and make them feel like they truly belong here? Fast forward just two months later, and here we are. It’s insane to see what can be achieved when a community genuinely comes together to support each other without any gatekeeping. Building Girls Leading Tech, onboarding our rockstar mentors, and watching everyone back each other up every single day has been such an emotional, rewarding ride. What an amazing journey it’s been so far, and from here on out, it’s strictly onwards and upwards. Beyond grateful for every single one of you in this space. We're truly just getting started. 🤍🚀 #GirlsLeadingTech #WomenInTech #CommunityBuilding #BuildingInPublic #TechCommunity #GrowthMindset #OnwardsAndUpwards
