Our success lies in partnering with businesses that share our values and hiring professionals who are passionate about their craft. Company Vitals: Headquartered in Austin, TX, we are a global team of dedicated individuals who have been in the industry for over 20 years. You're hearing AI search changes everything. Or that it's total BS. 3 qualified prospects found us through ChatGPT last month. Our AI traffic is up 1100% year-over-year. The stakes are too high to get this wrong. My SEO strategist just turned a skeptical agency partner into a believer with a 30-minute call. The transcript became an accidental masterclass. If you read one thing about AI search today, make it this: THE TRUTH ABOUT AI SEARCH: 1. JavaScript content is invisible That beautiful interactive content behind tabs? AI can't see it. Move it to HTML, citations go up. Google spent years learning JavaScript... AI engines won't bother. 2. The 12-month content death clock Pages cited by AI updated within the last 12 months. That "evergreen" content from 2020? It's dead to ChatGPT. Refresh everything annually. 3. LLMs scan 20-150 sites in milliseconds When ChatGPT needs current info, it speed-reads the top results FAST. If your site loads slowly, you're invisible. Cut load time 70% 4. "Black box within a black box within a black box" That's how our strategist described GEO. Traditional SEO was opaque. AI search? More so. But patterns are emerging... 5. Traffic down, quality WAY up 70% fewer clicks w/ AI answers. BUT... traffic that does come through? Pre-qualified by AI. They know what you offer and want it. 6. Reddit and Wikipedia = new best friends LLMs heavily weight these sources. One authentic mention on Reddit > 50 blog posts. 7. Semantic richness beats keyword stuffing Example from call: Medical page about cancer needs testimonials, support programs, caregiver resources, facility info... full context. AI understands topics, not just keywords. THE METRICS THAT MATTER FOR AI: ❌ Rankings (who cares if you're #1 if AI doesn't cite you?) ❌ Click-through rates (plummeting anyway) ✅ Citations in AI responses ✅ Brand mentions across the web ✅ Share of voice in AI answers WHAT STILL WORKS (DOUBLE DOWN): - Site speed (now critical - LLMs are impatient) - E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust) - Clear content structure (H1, H2, H3 - AI loves hierarchy) - Mobile optimization - Internal linking QUICK WINS YOU CAN IMPLEMENT TODAY: 1. Audit any content over 12 months old 2. Move interactive content out of JavaScript 3. Get your brand mentioned on Reddit (authentically) 4. Speed test your site... aim for under 2 seconds 5. Ask ChatGPT about your brand Here's what hit me hardest: 5 years building a team obsessed with genuinely helpful content. We thought we were just doing good SEO. Turns out, we were preparing for this exact moment. The agencies still doing "shady marketing practices" (thin content + bought backlinks)? They'll be left behind. AI sees through. Meanwhile, brands that invested in real expertise, fast sites, and fresh content? We're the ones getting cited. P.S. Happy to share the call and conference notes, just let me know: → Complete meeting notes (more detail) → 21-page PDF from world's first GEO Conference

  • Users decide in seconds whether to trust your site... OR they move on to your competitor. That’s why we don’t start with visuals on redesign projects. We start with empathy. Every hesitation, every missed click, every confusing path became insight. From there, we rebuilt the experience to feel effortless — visually and functionally. The results? +37% more sessions +314% increase in keywords ranking on page one +279% more engagement time per user Because the real beauty is in what the numbers say. 🎥 See the before-and-after transformation below #UXDesign #WebsiteRedesign #DigitalExperience #GLIDE

I thought being successful and growing a business was about being an INDUSTRY LEADER. I was spectacularly wrong. For 10 years, I chased that vision. Back in 2003, I started GLIDE with all the buzzwords. Our mission? "Create RAVING FANS by making KICK-AWESOME WEBSITES." (Yes, I actually wrote that. All caps and everything. 😅) We made great websites. We had happy clients. Revenue grew. But something felt empty. Then in 2013, I watched Simon Sinek's golden circle talk. You know the one... "People don't buy what you do, they buy WHY you do it." It wrecked me. I spent the next 1.5 years in what I can only describe as a business existential crisis. Questioning everything. WHY do I get up every day and sit in front of this computer? Why do I do what I do? It can't be about websites?!? Two truths collided: I'm a workaholic. Give me $100 million or tell me I have a year to live... I'd still be working. I once spent two full vacation days building a sand castle pyramid larger than a small car. No margaritas. Just hard work. But I also desperately wanted to help people. These seemed like opposing forces. How do you reconcile an overwhelming urge to work with a desire to make a difference? The answer was embarrassingly simple: Find people who are already helping others. Then help them. We can't build wells in Africa, but we can help the organizations that do spread their message. We can't deliver care packages to cancer patients at scale, but we can amplify the voices of those who do. We can't make Central Texas's best tacos (tragic, I know), but we can help those businesses bring daily joy to more people. Now my workaholic nature fuels meaningful work. Those opposing forces? They were meant to work together all along. The result? Over 22 years, we've contributed $1M+ in donations and pro bono work to hundreds of nonprofit organizations making a real difference. Took me 10 years to figure this out but man was it worth it. What took you too long to realize about yourself?

  • We were proud to sponsor Coffee & Connection last Thursday at the Cornerstone Caregiving #C3Summit2025 in Denver! GLIDE showed up with caffeine and conversation—and came away even more inspired by the incredible Operating Directors and marketing leaders shaping the future of caregiving. As a digital partner to multi-location health brands like Cornerstone, we don’t just build beautiful websites—we help teams scale impact, optimize operations, and deliver results that actually matter: more care delivered, more patients reached, and more peace of mind for growing organizations. Big thanks to the Cornerstone Caregiving marketing team for the warm welcome.
