last week, startup exchange’s foundry brought together georgia tech’s boldest hardware builders for an evening of real prototypes and real conversation. we kicked off with live demos and networking, then moved into a keynote and fireside chat where standout founders shared the raw realities of building in hardtech. huge thanks to our panelists Calla Scotch, José Luis R. This past weekend, I had to pleasure of leading the Google Cloud track at this year's AI ATL Hackathon hosted by Startup Exchange at Georgia Tech. It was such an amazing experience getting to see how thoughtful and innovative the participants and their projects were. Huge shout out to some of our winners, pictured below, and how much of an impact they made just in 36 hours. Also a huge shout out to Mahi Patel, Aditya Gupta, Shradha Gandotra from the Startup Exchange/AI ATL side of things for having Google there. Additional shout outs to Paige Bailey and Steven Hickson for the innovative and thought-provoking sessions they delivered. Last but not least, a shoutout to all the other Googlers that volunteered over the weekend: Matt Bridge, Amir Efrat, Kristin K., Nathalia A. Alicea, Luis Garcia, Hernan A., Eden R., Isaac Attuah, Shubha Mohan, and Arup Basu. It would not have been possible without these people! I definitely learned a lot this weekend but the biggest takeaway is that the future of AI is bright and in great hands. I look forward to being a part of AI ATL in the years to come!
