Double treat at Decibel Partners AI Pioneers Summit last week: Robust Intelligence (now part of Cisco) was recognized with the AI Acquisition of the year award and Jon Sakoda organized a photo op with the AI pioneers of Robust Intelligence and our amazing alums Harrison Chase and Jerry Liu.

Contractors often get a bad rap. 🔺 "Why would I hire a contractor over a full time employee? They won't be properly incentivized or bought in." 🔺 "The quality won't be the same and I don't want to deal with fixing their tech debt down the line." 🚀 Incredibly excited to finally announce our investments in Fixify today! ☘ I was lucky to get to work closely with the founding team of Expel (Dave Merkel, Yanek Korff and Justin Bajko)—since their seed round back in 2016 to disrupt the managed security services space, where I got to see Matt Peters (CPO), Peter Silberman (CTO), and Mase Issa (VP of CS) help scale Expel into the cybersecurity unicorn it is today. When they talked to us about the idea to apply the same operational principles to the IT market using AI, I jumped at the chance to partner up again for another adventure together.
