🛰️ To everyone who works with space and uses space technology in real life — happy #WorldSpaceWeek! This year’s theme, “Rocket Revolution,” highlights how technology is changing the way humanity reaches and uses space. For us at EOSDA, this revolution is also about what happens after satellites reach orbit. By turning space-based data into actionable information, we help businesses and governments monitor changes, assess risks, and make better informed decisions. This week is a good opportunity to recognize that the value of space lies not only in how we explore it, but also in how we use satellite technologies to address real-world challenges 🌎

If you’re attending the 44th ESA Antenna Workshop, join the Deployable Antennas II session to hear from our colleague at EOS SAR, Prof. Serhii Khoroshylov, Dr. Sc., Deputy Head of Design Engineering. At the event, you’ll also have a chance to connect with Marek Kubel-Grabau, Head of Institutional Sales at EOSDA, EOS SAR, and EOS SAT. To schedule a meeting with our colleagues, contact Marek directly on LinkedIn.
EOS SAR is attending the 44th ESA Antenna Workshop: Antenna and RF Systems for Space Missions, organized by the European Space Agency - ESA. Prof. Serhii Khoroshylov, Dr. Sc., Deputy Head of Design Engineering at EOS SAR, will speak during the Deployable Antennas II session with the presentation “Central feed deployable mesh reflector antenna based on cable-net system approximating parabolic and hyperbolic surfaces.” The presentation will address how a cable-net system can form the required parabolic and hyperbolic reflector surfaces while keeping the antenna lightweight and deployable. This approach tackles a key challenge in space antenna design: maintaining reflector accuracy and structural performance within strict mass and launch-volume constraints. The ESA Antenna Workshop brings together specialists in antenna and RF technologies for space missions to exchange technical approaches, research, and engineering experience. Looking forward to exchanging ideas and experience with industry colleagues! 📍 ESTEC, Noordwijk, the Netherlands 🕒 2:20 PM (UTC+1)

Monitoring large infrastructure sites remotely is difficult because visible progress doesn’t always reveal operational activity. Thermal satellite imagery adds an important layer by showing equipment activity, asset state, and physical processes that may not be visible in other geospatial data. EOS Data Analytics, together with SatVu, monitored a data center site in Marsden Park, Sydney, Australia. SatVu provided high-resolution thermal data, while EOSDA combined it with other geospatial inputs to assess activity across the site. The assessment showed: ◾ equipment activity; ◾ ongoing construction; ◾ passive assets; ◾ solar installation behavior; ◾ high-temperature industrial activity. This allowed the client to verify the site’s physical and operational condition remotely and reduce the need for site visits. We’re looking forward to continuing our collaboration with SatVu and adding thermal data to our multi-source intelligence for new client monitoring projects 🤝 🔗 Read the full case study on the website: https://lnkd.in/eszZVU7c

Our team is back after World Space Business Week #WSBW26 in Paris 🛰️ It was a pleasure to meet colleagues across the EO industry, share our updates, and explore new partnerships. Partnerships that give us access to new data sources are especially valuable to us, since combining different types of data is key to delivering more complete and reliable results for clients. At EOSDA, we aim to use all relevant data available to produce the most accurate analysis possible. We combine optical, SAR, thermal, and other contextual data because each source provides a different perspective on what is happening on the ground and helps us see whether the available evidence points in the same direction. We'll keep the conversations started in Paris going and hope to see many of you again at the next conference. Taras Duda Artem Berehovyi Viktor L.

Agrocentro’s technical advisors in Guatemala and Honduras spent around 40% of their working time traveling between fields, making continuous crop monitoring challenging. Agrocentro integrated Crop Monitoring to remotely monitor fields with satellite imagery and vegetation indices. In 2026, the team tracked 83 fields across 472 hectares and 16 crops, helping identify crop stress earlier and prioritize field visits more efficiently. Satellite monitoring now supports faster, more data-driven decisions across Agrocentro’s operations. 🔗 Read the full case study https://lnkd.in/eMe9aPdt

Our forest monitoring project in Portugal reached a new milestone. In partnership with CIM Coimbra under ESA’s InCubed programme, we delivered updated satellite maps to help local teams manage seasonal wildfire risks. The updated analysis shows recent changes in forest cover and marks high-risk areas near roads and towns. Local emergency services can now use our precise maps to plan fire prevention and allocate resources where ignition risk is highest.
