Hur skapar man en bättre kunddialog i energibranschen? För Härnösand Energi & Miljö AB, HEMAB handlade det inte om att skapa ännu en digital kanal. Det handlade om att göra energi begriplig och skapa en enklare väg till kunderna. Idag använder över 3 000 av HEMABs kunder EG Bright-appen för att följa sin förbrukning, förstå sina kostnader och ta del av viktig information direkt i mobilen. Resultatet: 20 % färre inkommande ärenden till kundtjänst. Europe's tech future is being decided now. EG will be part of that conversation. Our CEO Mikkel Bardram heads to Folkemødet on Bornholm on 11–12 June to debate one of the most important questions facing European business: How can Europe compete in the age of AI? Three perspectives EG A/S brings to that debate: ▪️ Europe must lead on responsible AI while becoming more competitive. The key is adopting the best available technology at the moment, without getting locked in. It is a tricky balance between innovation and sovereignty, and one we navigate daily across our 47,000 customers. ▪️ AI can bring real value to business and society, but only when it is industry-specific and applied responsibly. We work across 14 industries and see first-hand both the value created and the trade-offs involved. Not all trade-offs between AI and humans are obvious, and how Europe handles them will define the future of technology here. ▪️ Scaling in Europe is genuinely hard. We have built a Nordic software company through 46 acquisitions and a common operating model, and deep local market knowledge. It has not been straightforward and Mikkel looks forward to sharing what we have learned along the way. The foundation is in place. Now we're putting AI to work for our customers across their workflows. For us, that means AI that actually understands the work our customers do. We are expanding from three to four divisions and welcoming a new leader to the team. Esben Kolind Laustrup joins EG on June 15 as EVP for our new division Citizen Welfare & Utility, covering education, utilities and public administration across the Nordics. The new division brings sharper market focus to some of the sectors where industry-specific AI has the greatest potential to free up resources and strengthen the services that citizens and businesses depend on. Esben comes from seven years as CEO of Bankdata, where he led the consolidation of Nordic banking software infrastructure, one of the most significant consolidations in the Nordic financial software sector. "We have more growth opportunities ahead of us than at any other point in EG's history, and at the same time AI is fundamentally changing the pace of the market. To capture that potential and continue the momentum, we are expanding from three to four divisions. Today, EG publishes its 2025 annual report: revenue above DKK 2.8bn (+11.5%), recurring revenue growth of 13.6%, and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 38.1%. Behind these numbers is industry-specific software built for our 47,000 customers across the Nordics - 5,000 of them new in 2025 - who trust EG software to run their daily operations. In 2025, AI started making a real difference for many of our customers: In general practice, doctors save 1-2 hours of documentation every day. In construction, AI helps businesses capture orders, because an AI agent can take the call and plan the work. In property administration, intelligent assistants are making daily customer support more efficient. This is AI that knows your industry - built on deep industry expertise, integrated into the software our customers already rely on. In 2025 and early 2026, EG strengthened its industry depth through acquisitions, welcoming new colleagues across multiple verticals: ØS Indsigt, Bright Energy, LEX247, Cubit, and the Tieto acquisition of Edlevo and HR & Payroll - EG's largest acquisition to date. Sammen har vi dykket ned i temaer som AI, modernisering, kundeoplevelser, integrationer og data men også taget os tid til det, der ofte skaber mest værdi: samtalerne mellem mennesker.
