Welcome to Eye2Gene, Oksana Krykun! 🎉 We're delighted to have another brilliant mind joining the team as we continue building AI-powered tools to accelerate diagnosis and therapies for people living with inherited retinal diseases. We're always keen to meet smart, curious people who are passionate about innovation in healthcare. If you'd like to learn more about what we're building at Eye2Gene, we'd love to hear from you 😄 #InheritedRetinalDiseases #AIinOphthalmology #Eye2Gene
Excited to share that I'm joining Eye2Gene as a Founder Associate. Eye2Gene is building something that genuinely stops me in my tracks - an AI model that can diagnose inherited retinal diseases from a single fundus image, conditions that today leave patients waiting years for a correct diagnosis, if they ever get one. That's not incremental improvement, but a groundbreaking technology. That's a step change in how rare disease gets detected and treated. For someone who's interested in health innovation and product - and who believes the next decade of healthtech and biotech will be defined by AI-native diagnostics - this feels like exactly the right room to be in right now. Over the next few months, I'll be working closely with the founding team, getting into the mechanics of how you build and scale a deep biotech from the inside. There's no better MBA than that :) I want to say thanks to Nikolas Pontikos, Ismail Moghul, William Woof and Michel Michaelides for the trust and to Elis Yalman for the effort with onboarding and more. I'm here to contribute, learn fast, and help push things forward so we can help get treatments as safely and efficiently as possible! If you're working in AI diagnostics, rare disease, or ophthalmic healthtech - we would love to connect - we are always looking for like-minded people to join our team (link in the comments). https://lnkd.in/ezQ7Fz9T And if you are working in clinical trials - especially with eye diseases - let`s talk too. #innovation #AI #diagnostics #clinicaltrials #newjob
