We're thrilled to welcome Michael Montoya as our Chief Technology Operations Officer, transitioning from his position on the F5 Board of Directors, where he has served since 2021. In this new role, he’ll lead the enterprise-wide strategy and execution to further embed security into every aspect of how F5 operates. Michael brings deep experience as an information security executive, having led substantial security programs across multiple industries and geographies. As Chief Information Security Officer for large multinationals, he has overseen incident response, regulatory engagements, and major risk mitigation programs. A week has passed since we shared news of a major security incident at F5. We’ve taken, and will continue to take, significant steps to protect our customers by remediating the threat and strengthening the security of our core systems and infrastructure. To all our customers who have spent long hours implementing updates and combing through logs, thank you. Your responsiveness and the grace you have shown us working through this incident together are deeply appreciated. We are learning a tremendous amount from this incident and will take time to fully assess where and how we can be better. Along the way, we will share updates, so that our learnings can benefit not only F5, but the entire security community.
