FanDuel celebrated the start of the National Basketball Association (NBA) season with FanDuel TV's Run It Back cast and a stacked lineup of New York City basketball legends, including former Nike Historian Scott R., NBA Legend Rafer Alston, Director of NYC Point Gods Sam Eliad, and New York Knicks' Legend Walt 'Clyde' Frazier. This month FanDuel attended the AISES Conference as a top-level sponsor to recruit and offer employment opportunities in STEM for tribal communities. The national gathering is the largest conference in North America for Indigenous students and professionals in STEM fields. This year FanDuel sponsored the National Native American Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The 2024 inductees include Stanley Crooks (posthumous), Franklin Ducheneaux, Julie Kitka, Henrietta Mann, Veronica Homer Murdock (posthumous) and Te Ata, aka Mary Thompson Fisher (posthumous).    To support the event, FanDuel commissioned Choctaw master artist, DG Smalling, to create a piece of art depicting stickball which is an enduring part of Choctaw culture not only as a sport but also as a way of teaching traditional social structure and family values.   The priceless piece of part is up for auction until November 19th with all proceeds going to the National Native American Hall of Fame and can be found here: https://lnkd.in/gxiuMXYD.
