About us

The United States segment operates primarily under the Ferguson brand and provides expertise, solutions, and products, from infrastructure, plumbing and appliances to HVAC, fire, fabrication and more, to residential and non-residential contractors. Our products are delivered through a common network of distribution centers, branches and specialist sales associates, counter service, showroom consultants and e-commerce. As of July 31, 2025, the U.S. business operated 1,519 branches and 9 regional distribution centers serving all 50 states with approximately 31,000 associates. These locations provide same-day and next-day product availability, which we believe to be a competitive advantage and an important requirement for customers. In addition, our U.S. business operates five market distribution centers (“MDCs”) in Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston and Nashville for branch replenishment and final mile distribution to customers. Our operations and associate expertise align with our customer groups where we predominantly serve trade customers. By differentiating between the customer types, we are able to provide bespoke services and better cater to specific requirements. Each group has its own set of competitors that range from large national companies, including trade sales by large home improvement chains, to small, privately owned distributors. Last weekend at High Point Market Authority, our very own Caroline Ayscue Danielson, Senior Director of Showrooms, spoke on a panel alongside Thom Filicia (NKBA Design Council, Thom Filicia Inc.), Michel Smith Boyd (NKBA Design Council, SMITHBOYD Interiors), Kristina Christopher (VP Product Management & Design, Kichler Lighting), and Jill Cohen (Moderator, Editor in Chief, LUXE Interiors + Design). Together, they explored Designing with Light, Finish & Form with NKBA—sharing insights on how thoughtful design choices can transform both residential and commercial spaces. We’re proud to see Caroline representing Ferguson and continuing to inspire the design community through collaboration and innovation. Photo Credit: NKBA

  • From restaurants and hospitals to manufacturing and tech, water powers our communities. At Ferguson, we understand that behind every business that depends on water, there are dedicated professionals keeping it flowing. We’re proud to support the people – plumbers, utility workers, engineers and innovators – who maintain and strengthen our nation’s water infrastructure every day. Through our partnership with the American Water Works Association, we help fund continuing education for water operators, ensuring the workforce behind our water stays strong, skilled and ready for the future. #ImagineADayWithoutWater #ValueWater #FergusonCares

  • We teamed up with the City of Gainesville, Georgia, to mitigate phosphate pollution impacting fish habitats in the Flat Creek Watershed. The target site was a fire pond in downtown Gainesville that had once served as an economically crucial mill a century ago. This necessitated a nutrient-control solution that balanced function and sustainability with respect for the mill’s historical, aesthetic and emotional significance. Together, we implemented Beemats Floating Wetlands, a solution that not only cleaned the water, but honored the environment, improved the area’s aesthetics and supported local ecology. See how floating wetlands can restore urban water ecosystems. http://spr.ly/6044AZaFj
