Meeting the person behind the Slack handle. Comparing notes on the problem you thought only your team had. Helping someone debug something. What we used to call Fusion is now simply dbt: one Rust-based engine, faster parsing, local unit tests on DuckDB, and a rebuilt dbt docs that scales to thousands of models. dbt State is GA. It reads your model SQL and warehouse metadata, then builds, skips, clones, or defers each run automatically. RxBenefits cut warehouse costs 59% in the first 60 days. Lake Compute is in private beta. Run dbt transformations directly against Apache Iceberg tables in Fivetran's Managed Data Lake Service, model by model, no replatforming project required. dbt Wizard moves to preview.
