A glimpse into the potential desktop applications of Roswell’s Molecular Electronics Platform™, reimagined and redesigned for Roswell’s new brand. Stepping into the field of industrial design, we needed to enhance Roswell’s old assets to reflect the aesthetic of the new brand and compliment the visual narrative of the new 3D assets we created. Since these assets served to portray the potential varied applications (e.g. genome sequencing, molecular diagnostics), we had to make the design of the devices and their environment sufficiently flexible while preserving the elegant aesthetic and expressing the brand’s character in no uncertain terms. - Case study: https://bit.ly/3PCNrdz

Explaining the solution instead of explaining away the problem: the Interactive Storyline section and Dynamic Discovery chart. The Interactive Storyline section on the Molecular Diagnostic page focuses on devices for personal diagnostics and the benefit that could have for communities as a whole. It walks the user through the key points of forming a disease/pathogen database and lists the benefits that would have when it comes to preventing outbreaks or identifying diseases before they manifest in individuals. The Dynamic Discovery Chart on the Discovery Page focuses explicitly on the economic benefits of using Roswell’s platform to transform the current drug discovery process from a long, expensive, and broadly targeted approach, to a model that tailored drugs to specific individuals and groups. - Case study: https://bit.ly/3PCNrdz

Roswell Biotechnologies created the world’s first molecular electronics chip: it may be small, but it’s a really big deal — so we put it on a billboard. Roswell’s brand language works exceptionally well on large print. The balance of colors and accents is especially effective when supported by the our custom 3D visuals. - Case study: https://bit.ly/3PCNrdz

The Roswell Biotechnologies website: the apex of a journey to the edge of modern biotechnology, presented with elegance and interaction. Roswell’ Biotechnologies’ new website was the highlight of the project: a purified amalgam of all the elements we’ve created that made each shine in their brightest light and place Roswell ahead of the pack in every way. This is quite the content-heavy website, with 3D visuals and animations whose aesthetics compliment that of the brand, serving the ultimate goal of representing Roswell as a serious, and competent, technology company with a revolutionary product. - Case study: https://bit.ly/3PCNrdz #fiftysevenagency #roswellbiotechnologies #webdesign #ux #ui #techstory #designinspiration

“Simple” doesn’t have to mean “boring”. To achieve the pristine look of the newly formed DePoly’s visuals, we used simple and recognizable 3D models, with clean uniformed textures, to carry the visual narrative. We made the branding color palette into a gradient, complementing the textures and adding a natural, organic feel to the models. Since the visual elements themselves were intentionally toned-down, the dynamics of the narrative were left to composition and lighting. Monochrome, not monotone. - Case study: https://lnkd.in/dZgW_v_q #recycling #sustainable #circular #economy

PET sheets and films are mostly used in electronics and packaging. That’s, effectively, everything you use on a daily basis — which is kind of frightening. Nevertheless, ladies and gentlemen: DePoly’s top-quality recycled PET sheets and films! - Case study: https://lnkd.in/dZgW_v_q #recycling #sustainable #circular #economy

DePoly's branding is a blend of tradition and innovation, reminiscent of informative labels for industrial applications — but with curves in all the right places. In keeping with our strategy to make DePoly’s branding stand out, yet stay within the domain of the recycling industry, we created a sub-style of iconography that closely resembles traditional informative labeling for industrial applications and products — such as textile labels and technical manuals. - Case study: https://lnkd.in/dZgW_v_q #recycling #sustainable #circular #economy

Inspired by the hands-on nature of DePoly’s CTA, the News Page was designed to further the feeling of authenticity and immediacy by capturing the look and feel of a traditional, printed publication. The layout of the content itself doesn’t deviate from the DePoly’s character, but it does provide a different, more intimate approach to engaging with the brand. - Case study: https://lnkd.in/dZgW_v_q #recycling #sustainable #circular #economy

Since DePoly’s tech is enhanced recycling, we couldn’t just recycle their logo without enhancing it. Doing away with the traditions of the industry, DePoly’s branding narrative follows the cyclical constructive/ deconstructive process of enhanced recycling. The logo itself is a visual abstraction of a plastic particle going through the recycling process. - Case study: https://lnkd.in/dZgW_v_q #recycling #sustainable #circular #economy
