Filming for IKEA with a #Swedish crew. Filmapia's #Locations and #Fixing. What we love most about filming with foreigners is the PLANNING. We spent 2 weeks communicating with the Swedish crew, discussing their vision, and planning every shot in detail. Balancing the #Creative with the #Possible - on Paper and on the Ground. 6 YEARS OF FILMAPIA 5 OF US Back in 2018, our Founders Ben and Ivy left their corporate jobs and officially registered Filmapia as a company. A ridiculously foolish thing they were told! With zero background and zero connections in the notorious Film Industry and yet, they took this leap of faith. Along the way, Arun G, Pooja Mittra and Joshua Ebenezer joined the team. All 3 with zero background and zero connections in the Film Industry too... but with the right attitude! 6 years has been a #wild and #joyous ride. We learned everything from scratch and learned most things the hard way. Appreciating the nuances, being awestruck at the beauty of this make-believe world, and learning to navigate some dark, murky waters, as well.
