Recently, our maintenance team volunteered at Oaktree Academy, making improvements to the toddler playground by adding privacy panels and gates, as well as installing mesh material around the existing chain-link fence to enhance privacy. Our team was ready to step in, roll up our sleeves and help get the playground in tip-top shape! We love to give back to our local community, which has given so much to us. 💙

Over the past six months, 13 FloraCraft future leaders participated in a special training program to empower their leadership abilities. Led by expert trainer Todd Sperl, participants went through a behavioral assessment before receiving a customized development plan to grow their skills while leveraging existing strengths. Participants engaged in thoughtful reading, discussion and explored core leadership topics. This dynamic and personalized approach fostered meaningful growth and collaboration across the cohort, leaving leaders with actionable strategies and improved performance.

We loved having students back on campus! This time, fourth graders from Mason County Elementary School came out to engage with our team as we discussed our engineering and manufacturing process. Not only did they learn about FōM, but got hands-on experience with a special product exploration activity led by our team. We were inspired by the questions and interest this next generation of Mason County leaders had!

This summer, we're hosting eight interns across various departments, including Accounting, Product Operations, Maintenance, Extrusion, IT, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources. Last week, they enrolled in our FōM 101 class, which is led by our Senior Designer Dondi Richardson, CF. In the class, Dondi gives new team members a hands-on experience to learn about our line of FōM products while making their own arrangement. We are excited to have these students, who come from Central Michigan University, Cornerstone University, Ferris State University, Michigan Technological University, University of Michigan and West Shore Community College, on our campus to provide a well-rounded experience in their respective fields.

Yesterday, we celebrated our sixth Independence Day – the day we began producing our FōM in-house after more than four decades with an outside supplier. It was a great day – complete with sun – for our team to gather and connect with each other over a delicious barbecue. 💚💜💙
