Last year, I partnered with G Adventures to celebrate the transformative power of community tourism in India, a true pinch-me moment and a lifelong bucket list destination. This year, I’m thrilled to be partnering with them again! This time to highlight their Solo-ish Travel adventures in Morocco, designed for curious, independent spirits who still crave connection along the way. What I love about the Solo-ish approach is that it gives you the freedom of solo travel without the isolation. You get to follow your curiosity, meet incredible people, and still have the comfort of a supportive group and expert guides who really know the land. On this 10-day adventure, I’ll be capturing unbelievable experiences: ✨ Getting delightfully lost in the winding medina of Fès with a local guide ✨ Stargazing from a desert camp in Merzouga ✨ Tasting wine in Meknes with new travel friends …and much more! Honestly, this isn’t just content…it’s storytelling with purpose. And I’m grateful to the G Adventures team (Jessica Filice + Alexandria Sanchez) for trusting me to bring this vision to life and help show that solo travel doesn’t mean doing it all alone. Excited to share more from the partnership next week! #GAdventures #Creators #brandpartnerships

You asked, we listened. 👀 The rumours are absolutely true, we’re heading back to the Arctic - the land of polar bears, midnight sun, and ice-choked fjords with an all-new lineup of epic expeditions through Norway, Greenland, and Iceland. 🐻❄️❄️ Four unforgettable trips are available to book now! Can it get any better? Yes, it can! We’ve also got an updated ship for all our Polar cruises too! Her name? The Expedition. Complete with fuel-efficient engines, updated cabins with ensuite bathrooms, and that same community-driven vibe, she’ll sail south to Antarctica this October, then make her way north for Arctic departures starting in 2026. 🚢 No matter which route you choose, this is polar cruising, the G Adventures way - immersive, expert-led, and made to get you off the ship and into the wild. • Wanderer Training in Cape Town, South Africa! 💪💜 Help us give a warm welcome to our newest CEOs in Africa. From budgeting and shopping, to cooking over open flames, packing the Lando, and mastering the art of pitching tents - they’ve truly earned their titles. But more than that, they've embraced what it means to lead by creating experiences that change lives. The journey is just beginning! Here’s to their next chapter, we can’t wait to see them all thrive in their new roles.

Three Gheers for G Adventures! 🙌🙌🙌 Last week at the TravelPulse Canada Awards 🇨🇦 we took home three major awards and couldn’t be prouder: 🏆 TOUR OPERATOR OF THE YEAR - ADVENTURE 🏆 TOUR OPERATOR OF THE YEAR - ESCORTED 🏆 SALES REP OF THE YEAR - ESCORTED - NUPPY MISTRY What makes these wins truly special is that they’re voted on by our travel agent community - a powerful recognition of the passion, dedication, and hard work our entire team brings to life-changing travel experiences every single day. Well done, G Nation. 💜

  • “How do you work with communities to grow trees that, yes, they're sequestering carbon, but they're also addressing the very direct impacts they're already facing with relation to climate change and biodiversity loss? It's a lot to do with regeneration, renewal, reforestation, these sorts of things. But first and foremost, it has to uplift the communities.” - Jamie Sweeting, President of Planeterra 🌱

Using tourism as a tool to uplift people 🌍 , restore and protect nature 🌱 , and create meaningful experiences for hosts & guests 🌟.

So nice to see the programme Planeterra's been managing for the last 2.5 years for G Adventures be described so accurately and in a positive light in this article! 🌟 🌳 Growing the right trees, in the right places with the right people can have significant positive social, economic and environmental impacts, as well as enhancing resilience to the impacts of climate change, and improving well-being through biodiversity regeneration. 🌱 Jamie's quotes are bang on the buck! It's not only about how the tourism industry can do less harm, it's about how it can do more good, focused on doing more good for People and for Nature. 🌍 #positiveimpact #treegrowing #NOtoMonocultures #socialimpact #economicimpact #environmentalimpact #biodiversityregeneration #PowertothePeople #CommunityLed #CommunityTourism #PurposeDriven

Its been at least 10 years since I’ve been able to speak in front of a group of people, getting on stage to do a presentation in front a large number of Travel Counsellors was quite a new experience but a great one. I have a lot of respect for TC’s. A great organisation that puts on fantastic events and always enjoy speaking to them, all of which made it a lot easier. It’s easy to feel nervous in these situations and become overwhelmed, not deliver key messages and fumble your lines, but being able to see people I’ve enjoyed a coffee and chat with and that I respect calmed the nerves greatly. There are things to improve on, but I look forward to doing plenty more! G Adventures Travel Counsellors #gadventures #travelcounsellors

  • Have you heard of coolcations? ❄️✈️ As summer temperatures soar, more travellers are trading the heat of Greece, Spain, and Italy for the refreshing chill of destinations like Norway, Iceland, and Finland. Whether it's to escape the crowds or avoid extreme weather, the coolcation trend is gaining serious momentum. What are your thoughts? Have you noticed this shift in travel habits?

  • We’re beyond thrilled to share that G Adventures took home TWO awards this week! 🏆 Best Social Media: Awarded by Trevello Travel Group, voted by nearly 1,000 travel advisors across their incredible network. Our socials have always been about more than just pretty pictures - they’re a space for community, connection, and transforming lives through travel. Massive shoutout to our powerhouse Social Media team Jessica Filice and Michelle Dloomy! AND… 🏆 PR Campaign of the Year: Awarded at the TravMedia Awards for our Project Viet-Man campaign. If you missed it, this campaign followed content creator Lucy Rout as she flew halfway across the world for a fourth date. Romantic? Yes. Bold? Absolutely. And clearly, award-worthy! Congratulations to our PR team Leah Whitfield and Stephanie Francis and Social Media team for working together to make magic (and love!) happen.
