Smooth sailing ahead 🛳️🌊 Yesterday, Legend of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, was officially handed over to Royal Caribbean Group. A ceremony marking the completion of this remarkable vessel took place at Meyer Turku Shipyard in Turku, Finland. Cruise ships are essentially floating cities. With thousands of passengers and crew moving across their decks every day, ensuring smooth people flow is essential. At 365 meters long and accommodating around 7,000 passengers, this ship is a true engineering marvel. The 43 KONE elevators and four escalators on board are tailored to the demanding needs of the marine environment, ensuring effortless movement throughout the ship. Our space- and energy-saving systems have proven performance in thousands of installations – even in the toughest conditions. We’re excited to follow the ship’s journey as she embarks on her maiden voyage in July. 🌍 ⚓ Learn more about KONE Marine solutions here: https://kone.ws/4xi25LH #PeopleFlow #ShapingCities #CruiseIndustry #FutureOfCruise
