The global teams management platform. Hire anyone, anywhere. We handle everything in between.

About us

A global team shouldn't turn half your company into operations. Or three banks. Or a lawyer in every country. Kleos handles all of it. One contract — and everything between hire and paid stops being your problem. Hire anyone in 242 countries. Local contracts, compliance, KYC — including the parts no one warns you about. First contractor onboarded in under two hours. Manage documents, audit trails, IP transfers, renewals. Audit-ready in every jurisdiction. The kind of paperwork you only notice when it breaks — ours doesn't. Pay in 138 currencies. Flat €50 per contractor. No percentage fees. No FX surprises. Contractors keep every cent you send. We don't optimize the boring part. We delete it. ISO/IEC 27001 certified. 600+ distributed teams. $80M+ paid out — on time, every time. In business since 2022 as Stape, now Kleos. Built for distributed teams hiring 10+ contractors abroad. Tech, SaaS, EdTech, agencies, Web3. The boring part is handled. See for yourself → https://kleos.io

  • "Work from anywhere." "Belong anywhere." "Hire the best, wherever they are." You've seen the billboards. Some of the biggest companies out there bet their whole identity on going global, and they called it right: the border stopped mattering. We're all in on it. But someone's got to do the unglamorous bit underneath: the contracts, the payments, the compliance in fifteen countries at once. Someone has to make the magic boring. That someone is us. Global is the future. Kleos is the part that makes it actually happen. #globalhiring #remotework

  • "Is my contractor actually an employee?" We hear it constantly from game studios, and the honest answer is annoying: depends where they are, and the goalposts moved in 2026. So we put the full answer on InGameJob.com. Who's really at risk, who starts the trouble, and what to do, for both the studio and the person on the contract. Worth five minutes if B2B is how you hire ↓ #gamedev

B2B contracts are a normal part of the games industry. But the line between a contractor and an employee is getting more attention from regulators around the world. The Kleos team put together a practical guide to contractor classification in 2026: what regulators actually look at, where the biggest risks come from, and what this means for both studios and independent specialists. If B2B is part of how you hire or how you work, it’s worth a read 👇

  • We watched the Apple keynote this week and one line stuck with us: "extraordinarily complex engineering, yet feels effortless to use." That's the whole job of global payroll. One button on top, an iceberg of compliance, tax and country rules underneath. Making the hard part invisible is the actual product. (Also, our thing doesn't fold in half. Small win.) #globalpayroll #remotework #apple

🔒 Paying for work doesn't mean you own it. Most companies learn this too late. In most countries, the contractor owns what they make. Full stop. That intellectual property stays theirs until a contract signs it over to you. And the gap surfaces at the worst possible moment: mid-acquisition, when a lawyer finally opens your contracts. Five things decide whether your IP is really yours. They're in the cards 👇 Most global workforce platforms nail the payment and leave the ownership wide open. Real protection means IP assignment built into every contractor agreement, country by country, with a paper trail that survives due diligence. That's the independent contractor compliance a template can't fake. At Kleos, every contractor agreement hands you the IP by default. Signed today, yours today. If you work with global contractors, that's the difference between owning what you built and hoping you do. Would your setup survive that? #globalhiring #IP #intellectualproperty #remotework

  • 🎬 That's a wrap on gamescom, and what a week! Our table at Hall 3.2 barely had an empty seat. The rooftop with Rokky was the peak of the week — almost 1,000 signups for a room that stayed tight on purpose, and the right people showed up. Voices gone, feet gone, worth every minute. Thank you to everyone who came to talk, whether at the table or 30 floors up. You made our week. Now back to the day job: keeping global teams paid without the paperwork circus. Cologne, you were a lot. See you next year. #gamescom #gamedev

gamescom, day one ⚡ Non-stop since the doors opened. Turns out a lot of studios came to talk about the exact thing we do, which never, ever gets old. Our crew is camped at Hall 3.2 (UKIE area) all week. Swing by if your team's spread across a few timezones and payday is the scariest day of your month. Round two today, and it ends on a roof: tonight's our side event with Rokky. Almost 1,000 people registered. The roof is nervous. We're calling it now: best night of the week. #gamescom #gamedev

🧩 7 workflow gaps that turn contractor agreements into a week-long project You found the person. They said yes. Great. Now watch it take five business days and half your ops team to actually get them working. Seven places it disappears: 1. A different provider in every country Three markets, three logins, three invoices that never add up the same way twice. 2. The great document chase "Can you send your tax form? And your bank details? And a scan of your ID?" Repeat across four channels for two weeks. 3. No single source of truth The contract's in a folder. Or an inbox. Or someone's head. Good luck finding out before the payment's due. 4. Signature ping-pong The agreement bounces between five inboxes and quietly dies in one of them. 5. Invoice matching by hand Every month, someone cross-checks invoices against contracts in a spreadsheet. Every month, one slips through anyway. 6. Expiry roulette Nobody's watching the renewal dates, so you find out a contract lapsed the day someone flags it. Usually a client. 7. Every hire starts from zero No repeatable flow means hire number twelve is exactly as painful as hire number one. Notice none of the seven are about the contract itself. They're about everything wired around it: payments, compliance, renewals, all in different tools. Contractor contract management software handles the document. The mess is everywhere else. If you've got more than three of these, we should probably talk. #contractoronboarding #startups #remotework
