Today, we are saying a fond farewell and a massive thank you to one of Intuiface’s longest-serving team members, Christophe Mertz. Christophe joined us right after our founding in 2002. He started his career here as our Chief UI Designer and recently finished his amazing journey as our CISO. Did you know Intuiface originally focused on interactive hardware and software for air traffic control? During those early days, Christophe co-authored important research on human-computer interaction. His work explored how touch screens, animations, and gesture recognition could replace a traditional computer mouse to make life easier for air traffic operators. Beyond his impressive technical work, Christophe’s deep dedication and attention to detail helped shape the Intuiface culture we know today. He has always been a dependable, genuine colleague with a strong commitment to doing things the right way. Even his signature hairstyle has stayed intact - with just a slight color change - all these years! Christophe is truly loved by two decades of employees, and he will be greatly missed by all of us. We wish Christophe a very happy and well-deserved retirement! 🎉
