Today marked Insight Partners' first CFO Summit to bring finance leaders from across our portfolio together to compare playbooks on capital allocation, board communication, metrics, and the practical edge of AI. The first session, "Seismic Shifts: Reimagine, Renew, Redo," set the tone for the day with a call from Hilary Gosher to adopt an AI‑first mindset and measure what matters. Her challenge to the room: Make hard strategy choices, rebuild capabilities for speed, and burn outdated operating models. From there, the day moved from principle to practice. CFOs received an honest perspective from board members and our own leaders like Anika Agarwal, Krishnan Sastry, Peter Segall, Thomas Krane, Julia Murphy, Byron Lichtenstein, and Roxi W. who surfaced what great looks like in the modern CFO: strategic fluency, narrative clarity, and accountability to value creation. Attendees heard from their own peers like Scott Almeida (Recorded Future), Rick Russo (CentralReach), Ben Freeman (Omnea), and Rex Tessendorf (CivicPlus) on topics like exit readiness, data, and AI. At lunch, Anthropic’s Jeff Boes shifted the AI discussion from hype to workflow impact, while Michael Gordon (ex‑MongoDB) gave operators concrete patterns to copy on Monday morning. If there was a single through‑line, it was this: Next‑gen finance is a value driver, not a back office. Many small, compounding AI use cases beat any silver bullet; disciplined allocation beats spending, and numbers only resonate when they’re tied to a story the board can believe. And thank you to the team that brought the event to life: Roxi W., Stuart Mayer, Winnie Aoieong, Carina Moran, Tara M., Lely DeSimone, and Isabel Wright, CPA.

“After years of leading enterprise software sales teams, I took some time to explore advisory work while figuring out my next move. Last October, Dominic Olszowski from Insight Partners’ Talent team invited me to join a select group of non-portfolio leaders at #DriveGTM in Austin and it gave me a first-hand look at what makes the Insight Partners' community so unique. A year later, I’m back at #DriveGTM in New York City, but this time, as part of the Insight portfolio with the full support of the Onsite team and a trusted network of peers to give me the confidence and community to scale both personally and professionally.” — Chad Garrett, CRO at Florence Healthcare Behind stories like this is our Talent team, who help portfolio leaders find and hire the right people through deep talent networks, recruiting expertise, and the tools to hire with confidence. How can leaders harness AI effectively without getting lost in the hype? In this new blog, The Wharton School professor, AI thought leader, and author Ethan Mollick shares five rules for leading in the age of AI with Y Carrot's Jon Krohn. Mollick's message is clear: success isn’t about building the biggest model; it’s about using AI intelligently across your organization. Key takeaways: • Choose the right mode of collaboration with AI: partner, delegate, or automate. • Internal adoption beats outsourcing when it comes to scaling impact. • Uncover your “secret cyborgs” — the employees already using AI productively. • Experiment often. Hands-on experience matters more than endless analysis.

We're thrilled to announce our investment in Wonderful, the innovative company building an agentic customer service platform for the enterprise. At Insight, we’ve seen firsthand that the next wave of AI adoption will come from local depth, not just global scale. We expect the strongest AI platforms will be those that combine world-class technology with in-market execution: adapting to language, culture, and workflow, rather than expecting customers to adapt to them. Wonderful, and cofounders Bar Winkler & Roey Lalazar, embody that philosophy. Their rapid momentum across healthcare, financial services, telecom, and more, proves that local fluency is a must. Congratulations to the Wonderful team on their $100M raise! 🎉 To learn more about why Insight backed this innovative agentic company, go behind the investment with us here: https://lnkd.in/eKQFpTrw

Building trust isn’t just Valimail’s mission — it’s how CEO Alexander Garcia-Tobar leads. “Our mission is to authenticate the world’s communications at scale," Garcia-Tobar explains. Valimail has turned a complex security problem into a platform trusted by the world’s largest enterprises. By automating the standards behind email authentication — DMARC, DKIM, and SPF — Valimail helps organizations secure their communications and protect their brands at scale.

This week’s Onsite Hour brought software leaders inside the next frontier of AI engineering: how agentic coding tools are reshaping development workflows and developer productivity. Hosted by Insight Partners’ Rachel Weston Rowell and Wes R., with Janak Sevak (Technical Staff, Applied AI at Anthropic), this session explored practical applications of Claude Code and emerging patterns in agentic automation — from real-time demos to implementation lessons from enterprise-scale adoption. We covered: 🧩 AI’s real engineering value lies in autonomy, not assistance. Teams are moving beyond prompt-level coding to deploy agents that plan, act, and self-correct through full development loops — from ticket creation to deployment validation. 🧩 Aim for autonomy, adopt incrementally. The highest ROI comes from automating high-friction tasks like bug triage, QA testing, and documentation before expanding to full application builds. 🧩 Context management defines success. Constrain memory, retrieve only what's relevant, and isolate task context to reduce errors and improve reliability. 🧩 Security and governance remain the foundation. Every Agent action should be permissioned, auditable, and observable before scaling. Enterprise-grade implementation starts with safeguards, not shortcuts. 🧩 Developer adoption follows utility, not novelty. Engineers integrate Agents that sit inside their IDEs and workflows — not separate dashboards — to gain efficiency without changing how they code. 🧩 Performance must be measured, not assumed. Track latency, cost per task, rework rate, and success criteria. Evals replace anecdotes as the measure of value. AI engineering is moving from exploration to execution. The next wave of impact will come from teams that treat autonomy as infrastructure — disciplined, observable, and embedded across their development lifecycle. For years, #DriveGTM has brought together go-to-market leaders across our portfolio to connect, learn, and exchange strategies that drive meaningful, measurable growth. This year, we brought #DriveGTM home to New York City — where Insight Partners was founded — to celebrate 30 years of software investing and a community that continues to set the pace for innovation. Over three days, 150+ portfolio leaders explored how AI is transforming every function of the GTM engine — from fueling pipeline and accelerating sales to reshaping product development and engineering. Across each day, one theme stood out: The future belongs to teams who turn AI from theory into impact. Leaders described the event as “strategic, actionable, and future-focused,” with sessions that combined board-level perspectives, peer connection, and real data on how software companies are scaling faster and smarter. But the road to growth doesn’t end here. If you’re part of Insight Partners' portfolio and missed #DriveGTM, you can still dive into the insights and benchmarks we shared by joining us on December 10th for our upcoming “CxO Insights" Onsite Hour — a weekly virtual series built to help you #ScaleUp. DM us for the event page link. Thank you to all our Onsite advisors and portfolio leaders for bringing the energy, insights, and community that make #DriveGTM so powerful!
