This is part of a larger, ongoing effort to move the project away from old Red Hat leftovers. We are transitioning project management and documentation to be fully community-handled. 2025 has been an interesting year for the #virtualization world. For oVirt, it meant a significant increase of the installed base. Here is a graph of the median and average of daily accesses on the CentOS Stream 9 based oVirt 4.5 repository over the last year (data collected from Fedora Project MirrorManager statistics at https://lnkd.in/dyGTwv45 by repository). The newly released oVirt 4.5.7 for CentOS Stream 10 is already counting more than 100 daily accesses and growing! Thanks again to all the contributors who made this release possible.

oVirt 4.5.7 fue lanzado luego de dos años sin novedades, marcando un nuevo avance para esta plataforma open source de gestión de virtualización mantenida ahora principalmente por la comunidad. Tras el cambio de enfoque de Red Hat hacia OpenShift, el proyecto continúa activo gracias a desarrolladores independientes.
