Read more about his experience and takeaways from the summer below. "During my internship, I was responsible for managing sales orders, customer item setups, account setups, and overall account management. One of the key takeaways from this internship was experiencing a work environment that truly feels like a team. Everyone cares deeply about each other and the work we do. This has greatly influenced my perspective on the importance of a positive work environment. I also learned the value of showing up consistently and being ready to face obstacles head on. • From customer outreach to presentation edits and project coordination, Luke made the most of every opportunity to learn and contribute. Read more about his experience below. "This summer, I had the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities during my internship. Some of my main projects included entering sales orders, researching and contacting potential customers, completing item setup sheets, and assisting with account management by providing updates and relaying project needs to the creative team. I also supported the sales team by taking notes during calls, editing presentations, and helping with customer service tasks. Through these experiences, I sharpened my technical skills in platforms like HubSpot, SAP, Media Valet, Asana, Excel, Word, and Shopify. Just as importantly, I developed strong soft skills such as learning how to communicate effectively across departments, manage multiple deadlines, and relay information clearly and professionally. One of the biggest takeaways from this internship is the importance of adaptability. My coworkers continually encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and take on unfamiliar tasks, which taught me that hard work and a willingness to learn go a long way. While I’m still figuring out exactly what I want to do in the future, I know I want a career that involves working with people, being challenged, and ideally, traveling. I’m excited to return to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga this fall to begin my sophomore year and continue pursuing my business degree."

  • This summer, Kendall joined the sales department and quickly became a valuable part of the team. Read more about her experience and what’s next in her journey below. "This summer, I had the opportunity to work in the sales department at Logo Brands, where I was responsible for putting in orders, organizing graphs and data for line reviews, pulling information for retailer projections, and researching buyer information for potential future partners. Through this experience, I gained hands-on knowledge of how the sales team functions and how the data team’s work directly supports sales and the company as a whole. It has expanded my understanding of business operations and has helped me determine that I want to pursue a future career as a data analyst. Throughout the internship, I developed skills in SAP, Excel, Canva, SPS, HubSpot, and LinkedIn. I also strengthened key traits like adaptability, communication, hard work, and problem-solving. This experience has helped shape my academic goals, and I now plan to major in Business Data Analytics in college to continue down the path of becoming a data analyst. Next, I will return to complete my senior year of high school while continuing to work at Logo through the Work-Based Learning program. I’ll attend classes in the morning and head to Logo after lunch to continue gaining real-world experience. I’m excited to work year-round and be exposed to parts of the company I might not have seen during the summer months!"
