AI visual inspection software for manufacturers to reduce cost of quality and address workforce challenges.

About us

Loopr offers AI software to reduce cost of quality and address workforce challenges in manufacturing. Using LooprIQ Inspect software, manufacturers reduce the time, money and inconsistency of quality inspection processes such as defect detection, assembly verification and more. LooprIQ Inspect becomes a store of inspection & domain knowledge, helping manufacturers mitigate the risk of an aging workforce and losing the know-how of their best and most experienced operators when they retire.

  • Before automating a visual inspection, can your team clearly define what a failed inspection looks like?   Consider a wire harness used in data center power equipment.   An inspector may need to check for missing connectors, incorrect wire routing, or improperly secured components.   These checks might be obvious to an experienced operator. But turning them into a repeatable digital inspection process requires more than capturing an image.   A few questions need clear answers:   1. What exactly is being inspected, and which defects matter?   2. What are the pass/fail criteria? Are there acceptable variations?   3. At which stage of production should the inspection happen?   4. What information needs to be recorded for traceability?   5. Where should the inspection result go, and who needs to act on it?   The answers determine how an inspection should be designed, whether it is performed manually or supported by Vision AI.   At Loopr AI, we work on digitizing visual quality inspections and making inspection data useful beyond the individual check.   For manufacturers building new battery and power equipment production lines, defining these inspection requirements early can make the transition to digital quality workflows much more straightforward.   How does your team define inspection criteria before introducing automation?   #Manufacturing #QualityControl #VisualInspection #VisionAI

  • AI data-center growth is already showing up on factory floors. The U.S. EIA expects record electricity generation in 2026 and 2027, with data-center development and manufacturing among the demand drivers. Generac Industrial Energy says initial backup-generator deliveries for Amazon data centers are expected to total $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028. Eaton is opening a 370,000-square-foot Nebraska switchgear facility, with production expected in the first half of 2027. It is also investing more than $242 million in Arkansas to double U.S. capacity for electrical enclosures. Vertiv says its Ohio expansion will increase liquid-cooling and chilled-water capacity by about 45%, with the expanded facility expected online in Q2 2027. Across generators, switchgear, enclosures and cooling systems, data-center demand is translating into real manufacturing capacity. For manufacturers adding that capacity, we think quality and inspection should be part of line design early. NIST's digital-thread work supports connecting design, manufacturing, quality and inspection information. At Loopr, we focus on visual inspection: digitizing and automating checks at incoming, inline and final inspection points, with traceability and manufacturing-system integrations. #Manufacturing #DataCenters #QualityInspection #AI

  • When setting up a new manufacturing plant for batteries, power systems, or data center equipment, three software systems usually play very different roles. Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) defines what you are building. Manufacturing Execution System (MES) manages how it is being built. Quality Management System (QMS) manages whether it meets the required quality standards. For operations and inspection teams, the next question is where the inspection result goes. A missing component, incorrect wire routing, or visible defect should connect to the right manufacturing, quality, and traceability workflow. This is where AI-powered digital visual inspection fits into the stack. Loopr captures inspection results at the point of quality and connects them with the systems around the production process. #Manufacturing #Quality #VisualInspection #IndustrialAI

A recent article highlights how Safran is leveraging Loopr AI to enhance defect inspections through synthetic data. I found it interesting that the effectiveness of AI in aviation hinges not just on the technology itself, but also on the quality of the data it learns from. What do you think are the challenges companies face in ensuring data integrity for AI applications?

Looking forward to being back with the Women in Manufacturing community in Las Vegas. WIM SUMMIT runs October 7-9, bringing together manufacturing professionals from across the industry. On October 8 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., I'll be joining Allison Roberts Grealis and Joanna C. Cooper for an invite-only executive roundtable: "Momentum: How Leaders Remove the Barriers Between AI Ambition and Operational Reality" We'll be discussing a question I hear often from manufacturing leaders: How do you move from AI ambition to operational reality? AI pilots are one thing. Making AI work within real processes, systems, teams and day-to-day operations is where the harder work begins. If you're working through this challenge and would like to join the roundtable, reach out to me for an invitation. Loopr AI will also be exhibiting at the WIM EXPO during Women in Manufacturing Summit. If you're planning to attend WIM SUMMIT, you can register here: https://lnkd.in/deukWdzV And if you're already attending, Me and Monica Lazo would love to connect. #WomenInManufacturing #Manufacturing #IndustrialAI

It was a pleasure representing Seattle Colleges at "Women Who Build: Leadership in Manufacturing & Technology," a panel presented by Loopr AI, Microsoft, and JPMorganChase Chase at the Microsoft Innovation Hub, moderated by Jo VanDerSnick (JPMorgan Chase). Liz Strongman, Director of Seattle Colleges - Office of Corporate & Customized Training, joined an incredible lineup of women leading in manufacturing and technology. A few takeaways that stuck with us: Janet Boudreau Ceddia, CEO, Addtronics ® Growth doesn't happen by staying the same. "To grow, you have to change," whether that means how open your leadership team is to learning, or how well your business model holds up when you look closely at client retention. Priyansha Bagaria, Founder & CEO, Loopr AI In manufacturing, there's no room for error, and technology doesn't replace that judgment; it extends it. "You bring your people, we bring our technology." AI gives operators more eyes on the process; people still bring the quality. Yvonne Hamilton, AI Principal Cross Solution Engineer, Microsoft Innovation Hub Before asking how AI can do a job faster, ask who it's for. "Your AI use case shouldn't be about replacing people; it should be about how you make their lives better," especially for front-line workers in manufacturing and retail. Liz Strongman, Director of Seattle Colleges - Office of Corporate & Customized Training Liz shared something we live by every day in our own training programs: "We don't just talk to leadership. We go to the floor, we talk to the people doing the work, and we ask what's actually getting in their way. Programs that look good on paper but skip that step don't last long; real training has to work at every level: onboarding, scaling, new hires, and specialized roles." The real leadership challenge in manufacturing isn't just adopting new technology; it's training every level of the organization to understand it, adapt to it, and use it well. What's been your biggest challenge in training your workforce to adopt new technology? #WomenWhoBuild #WorkforceDevelopment #Manufacturing #AI #CorporateTraining #SeattleColleges

  • The best place to catch a wiring issue is before the assembly reaches the next operation. Take a terminal wiring assembly.   The inspection may need to confirm: • The correct wire is connected to the correct terminal. • The wire is positioned correctly. • The required fastener is present.   Once those checks are defined, visual inspection can become part of the normal production flow:   Assemble. Inspect. Pass or flag for review. Move to the next operation.   For manufacturers building new power equipment, battery systems, and data center infrastructure, this is the kind of inspection decision that should happen during process design, not after quality issues start appearing downstream.   #Manufacturing #VisualInspection #QualityInspection #ComputerVision
