    The Lazada Birthday Sale 2026 reflects how consumer expectations across Southeast Asia are evolving—towards greater trust, stronger brand affinity, and more informed purchasing decisions. Key indicators from our campaign this year highlight this shift: ✨ LazMall accounted for 60% of total GMV, with 6× growth during the campaign 🚀 The top 100 LazMall sellers recorded 8× GMV uplift, led by standout categories such as Sports & Outdoors (97×) and Innerwear & Sleepwear (52×) 🌏 Global brand participation accelerated, delivering a 2.5× increase in orders 🤖 Our AI features are helping shoppers make smarter, more informed decisions, contributing to an AI‑guided GMV of nearly US$3 million during the campaign.     We have partnered with Michelin to redefine how customers across Southeast Asia discover and purchase tyres online. Building on Michelin’s existing #LazMall flagship store in Thailand which today offers motorcycle and bicycle products, the partnership will expand in Q1 2026 to include both passenger car and motorcycle tyres, before scaling across the region. By combining Michelin’s leadership in mobility and safety with Lazada’s technology, logistics and regional capabilities, we aim to deliver a seamless and trusted tyre‑buying journey for all motorists For Michelin’s authorised distributors and partners, the partnership also unlocks new opportunities to reach Lazada’s millions of active users while benefiting from an established eCommerce ecosystem. As high-consideration, complex and premium product categories increasingly move online, LazMall serves as a trusted platform to provide consumers with greater confidence in their online shopping.     I had the privilege of speaking with hundreds of brand partners who define the heart of Lazada’s ecosystem at last week’s LazMall Brand Gala. This year, we are introducing upgrades that make it even easier for brands to connect with high-intent consumers, elevate their presence, and scale with confidence.     Southeast Asia’s eCommerce is entering its authenticity era: a new Cube Asia study, commissioned by Lazada, shows authenticity-driven eCommerce has surged from 12% in 2020 to 30% in 2025, and is on track to hit 55%,  a US$150B opportunity by 2030. This marks a major step in Lazada's #AI transformation initiatives, and reflects our committment to enhance efficiency, personalisation and transparency across the #eCommerce journey. Quoting our CTO, Howard Wang, "We’re moving from using AI as a support tool to empowering it as a co-pilot that understands, analyses, and acts in real time. By integrating intelligent agents across our ecosystem, we’re making this 11.11 not just bigger, but smarter, where shoppers enjoy greater convenience and savings, and sellers benefit from sharper insights and efficiency.     #Lazada Singapore had the pleasure of hosting Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Deputy Commander (Planning & Learning Design) DAC Ong Hui Chin and the ICA Command & Staff Course. The session focused on AI Empowerment in Lazada – how we nurture a culture of innovation and adaptability, and leverage data-driven insights to guide better decision-making. 🚀 We also shared how RedMart scales its operations through automation, while also balancing growth with sustainability. It was inspiring to see the participants’ strong engagement, thoughtful questions, and curiosity throughout the discussion. We hope the insights exchanged will spark new ideas and applications as they bring these learnings back to their roles in safeguarding Singapore’s borders.
