Giovanni Poggiali from INAF Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica will be giving the scientific Introduction to Mars, bringing the latest of our knowledge about the red planet. Athanasia Nikolaou will be following-up with the resources. "EPSC Goes live for schools" has landed in The Hague and brought Dr. Sabrina Schwinger from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in a classroom of the The British School in the Netherlands where they discussed water on the Moon! The curious minds of 9 year old students not only stood up to the challenge of new discoveries but received the most awesome material to work with after class. Next up: the Tumbleweed Mars hands-on rover workshop. We warmly thank the British school and teachers for hosting our conference researchers! "Coordinated chaos". Recently, we started a new partnership with the Montessori School in #Valencia. As part of this collaboration, our scientist and Lewibo coordinator Olha Sobetska visited the school to give a lecture on #Chaos Theory earlier this month. The school follows the #Montessori method, with learning environments adapted to each stage of a child’s development. Students explore science, geometry, geography, and social interaction through hands‑on activities before moving on to more abstract concepts. The teachers’ enthusiasm and the students’ curiosity were immediately visible. In the class of 14‑year‑olds, their engagement with this challenging topic, such as deterministic chaos, and their ability to connect it to other ideas were inspiring and a strong reminder of what science outreach can achieve.

The largest ever image of the Milky way from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observatory and the largest school audience at a LeWiBo lecture of the last 3 years in one - complementary - picture. Shortly after Easter we had a warm welcome from a high school in La Plata, #Argentina where one of our volunteer lecturers spent a full hour discussing with three (!) classes of students how the observatories in South America host astronomers and offer them unique observation conditions. Offering lecture opportunities globally to our base of traveling researchers is not always easy. One link at a time is the - slow and steady - way. Grateful to the hosts and volunteer Dr. Tatiana M. Rodriguez for her time. #STEM #scicomm
