Myyntiorganisaatioilta ei ole koskaan puuttunut dataa. Meillä on ollut CRM, raportit, aktiviteettidata, pipeline-data ja konversiot käytössä jo vuosia. Silti moni johtoryhmä käyttää edelleen suuren osan ajastaan selittääkseen, miksi viime kuussa kävi niin kuin kävi. AI:n suurin arvo ei mielestäni ole siinä, että se kertoo meille jotain täysin uutta. It was a true pleasure and privilege to host the annual Fortum Business & Golf Meetup for the fifth consecutive year. This two-day event brings together all of our valued B2C partners and key stakeholders to reflect on the successes of the past year, discuss our strategic direction, strengthen relationships, and, of course, compete in our annual golf championship. Once again, Revontuli Resort and Golf provided an outstanding setting for both productive discussions and memorable experiences, offering excellent facilities for corporate events. After a long day of discussions, networking, and golf, nothing compares to the experience of a traditional Finnish smoke sauna followed by a swim in the lake. 🇫🇮🌲💦 I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all our partners and people from Fortum who joined us and contributed to making this event such a success. What a great evening we had last Thursday when LeadDesk invited the Ambitious Women’s Club community for an exclusive dinner in Amsterdam. In an intimate setting, we had the opportunity to exchange experiences, share perspectives and engage in open discussions about customer service, inbound and outbound tooling, AI and the evolving challenges and opportunities within our industry. Yesterday, our LeadDesk team attended the High Tech High Touch conference in Stockholm, where the spotlight was on the transformative power of AI in customer service. 🤖🦾 Together, we explored the latest trends and engaged in thought-provoking discussions about how AI is reshaping customer experience today. Here are some reflections and insights from Shweta, our AI Product Manager, who was on the ground at the event: 🚀 AI is already changing how we work, lead, and make decisions. Organizations should no longer question whether they should act, but instead how quickly they can start integrating AI into their daily workflows. 🤝 Engaged teams are built on trust, not just tools. Strong face-to-face conversations and psychological safety still matter. AI should support this not only in commercial use cases, but also as a helpful tool for employee development. 🫶 A people-first approach outperforms an AI-first approach in the long run. Automation should reduce repetitive work and but give people more time to focus on complex, relationship-driven customer cases. In summary, the main takeaway was the importance of blending technology with a human touch. It also means strengthening the systems and processes that support sustainable growth. 🚀 Thank you to our Finance team and EY’s FAAS team for the strong collaboration throughout the project. Together, we’ve built a more scalable finance function that covers financial process improvements, ERP rollout, and post-acquisition integration. 🤝 This has been an important step in strengthening LeadDesk’s financial infrastructure, which supports our continued growth across markets and acquired businesses.
📈 LeadDesk was growing rapidly and expanding into new markets, which increased the complexity of its finance function. At the same time, the business needed to keep running without disruption. EY was part of this journey by combining hands-on interim support with practical finance process modernization. This meant being closely involved in the day-to-day work while also helping to move the broader transformation forward. Together, we unified systems, strengthened reporting, and helped build a finance function that is better equipped to support continued growth. 📊 This collaboration is a good example of what enables successful transformation in practice: staying close to the business, focusing on what really works, and bringing in the right support at the right time.
