Today, the launch of the Rheinmetall ICEYE Space Solutions integrated platform marks a decisive step in Germany's push for sovereign, AI-enabled space reconnaissance. LiveEO is proud to be a starting partner. What sets this platform apart: Germany's leading NewSpace capabilities now operate as one sovereign ISR system that already works in the field. Radar, infrared, optical, and AI-processed intelligence run within a single architecture, with no single point of failure and no dependence on non-sovereign sources. LiveEO contributes the platform's AI-powered geospatial change detection. By fusing multi-sensor data and surfacing change across vast streams of satellite imagery, our analytics compress the time from data collection to operational decision, so a trusted, fused picture reaches the people who need it in time to act. Layered with SAR reconnaissance, sovereign satellite platforms, and thermal infrared sensing, the system reaches from satellite manufacturing through to decision-ready intelligence, held end to end under German control. And it is designed to expand: an open architecture that further qualified capabilities can join as needs evolve. With our participation in this platform, and our upcoming satellite constellation Twinspector for sovereign 3D data, LiveEO is ready to become a driving force in Europe's security landscape. This is sovereign defence capability, made real. Rheinmetall ICEYE Reflex Aerospace OroraTech constellr #ILA2026 #Space #NewSpace #Defense #ISR #Innovation #EuropeanSecurity

Most pipeline monitoring programmes assume you can fly when you need to. But what if you can’t? 🤔 BPA - British Pipeline Agency Limited operates a 1,000km pipeline network in the UK — including sections that cross restricted airspace where helicopter patrols aren’t always an option. That creates a real challenge: maintaining safety, integrity, and regulatory confidence in corridors that can’t always be observed from the air. In our upcoming session, BPA’s Chelsea Dove and Manesh Patel share how they manage it in practice: ✅ The reality of operating with aerial monitoring constraints ✅ How surveillance gaps affect damage prevention programmes ✅ The safety and compliance risks that come with persistent blind spots ✅ What it takes to maintain confidence in a corridor you can’t always fly 📅 June 25, 2026 | 4:00 PM CET Register to join live or receive the recording 👇

Some pipeline segments are inherently hard to monitor, and those are often exactly where the risk hides. In practice, these conditions create blind spots where visibility drops to near zero and activity can unfold without being seen. We recently analyzed a case where a forestry clearance was quietly underway near a pipeline corridor. The site was heavily wooded, fenced off, and incredibly difficult to access. While the pipeline received bi-weekly helicopter patrols, activity happening within dense woodland is easy to miss from the air. The aerial patrols missed it. However, #SurfaceScout, our satellite-based monitoring solution, detected the change. The detection triggered a field deployment. The worker sent to investigate actually had to locate a hole in a boundary fence just to get a visual on the site, confirming a clearance that had already been active for weeks. Traditional aerial patrols are a critical piece of the utility and infrastructure defense mix, but they cannot see through solid canopies. To truly protect critical infrastructure, operators need to pair traditional methods with persistent, satellite-driven insights that catch what the human eye misses.

Recently, our Chief Evangelist, Nick Ferguson, took the stage with Jason Grossman from Liberty Utilities at the ROW 14 Symposium in Vancouver. They discussed how Liberty Utilities is recognized by the Right-of-Way Stewardship Council as a Right of Way Steward, and how data-driven decisions, including from satellite intelligence, is embedded across Liberty's 7,400 miles of T&D infrastructure to drive vegetation management decisions. Beyond the sessions, it was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with experts across the industry. A huge thank you to Jason and the team for a fantastic joint presentation!

The space around pipeline rights-of-way is shrinking. As infrastructure development and population growth accelerate along corridors, the pressure on operators to stay ahead of external interference has never been greater. Last week, we hosted the first #PipelineSafetySummit, an online event bringing together regulators, operators, and industry practitioners for an honest conversation about where damage prevention stands today, and where it needs to go. The discussions were candid. The industry is making progress, but incidents still happen. Fatalities still occur. And behind every statistic is a real human story. What came through clearly across every session is that the industry has the knowledge, the data, and the tools to do better. The opportunity is in connecting them and in building programs that don't just look good on paper, but hold up in the field, where it actually counts. We're grateful to our speakers from Pipeline Safety Trust, Canada Energy Regulator | Régie de l’énergie du Canada, Enbridge, BPA - British Pipeline Agency Limited, Irth, TC Energy, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company for the transparency and depth they brought to the conversation. Make sure to swipe through the visuals below to see standout quotes from our speakers. Thank you to everyone who attended and shared their insights!

When you walk into a budget meeting asking for funding, what are you bringing to the table? For decades, utility vegetation management has relied heavily on institutional knowledge and historical trim cycles. But when budgets get tight, experience alone isn’t enough to protect your program. As Jason Grossman from Liberty Utilities pointed out in one of our webinars this year, without data, it’s incredibly difficult to defend your strategy to executive leadership or regulators. Data is what turns vegetation management from a subjective cost center into a defendable risk-mitigation program. By pairing AI-powered satellite intelligence with targeted field validation, Liberty Utilities has shifted from a fixed schedule to a dynamic learning system. The data enables them to: ✔️ Catch hidden vitality decline and off-ROW fall-in risks to augment trim cycles ✔️ Send crews straight to pinpointed locations to reduce patrol time ✔️ Build data-backed costs to secure fast budget approvals for hazard trees When you can tie every dollar spent directly to avoided outages and verified risk reduction, the conversation with leadership changes completely. If you manage the vegetation with data, the budget follows. Read the full case study to see how Liberty Utilities built a learning-driven vegetation program 👇 https://lnkd.in/dUMqfabH
