Fort Worth, Texas, we showed up! 🤠 The LUMA Residential team was proud to be part of the 2026 Texas Apartment Association ONE Conference & Expo — the largest gathering of rental housing professionals in Texas. The event brought together 4,000+ industry leaders for three days of education, innovation, and connection, and we were right in the middle of it. We had the privilege of hearing from keynote speakers Jesse Itzler, Seth Mattison, and Zack Kass — three powerhouse voices on entrepreneurship, leadership, and the future of AI — and soaked in sessions across tracks covering everything from legal leasing and asset integrity to AI-powered property operations. Our LUMAcares team had the privilege of volunteering with West Houston Assistance Ministries - WHAM — and it was a morning we won't forget. 💙 From 7:30 a.m. to noon, our team got to work — bagging carrots, then shifting into full gear loading groceries for families in need. The result? 284 cars loaded in just 3 hours. That's 284 families. 284 moments of impact. We're incredibly grateful to be part of an organization that not only talks about community but shows up for it. A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers for making days like this possible and thank you to all of LUMAcares for fostering a culture where service is at the heart of what we do. Last week, a couple of our LUMAcares members had the privilege of touring the American Red Cross Disaster Supply Center — and it left a mark. 🔴 What could have been a warehouse full of supplies turned out to be something far more powerful: a front-row look at what compassion and readiness actually look like in action. From learning Hands-Only CPR 🫀 to stepping inside an Emergency Response Vehicle, to getting a behind-the-scenes view of Biomedical Services and how life-saving blood donations reach patients every single day — every moment was a reminder of how much one organization (and the people who support it) can do. Every item on those shelves represents a family who won't face their worst day alone. That's the mission.
