We’ve been using monday.com as our official CRM for Nas.com. And now I see the power of distribution. Since we already use monday.com, we don’t need any new AI tools. We get AI agents directly from monday.com that could actually read our data: contacts, deals, all of it. They already know what is going on. We have an Agent that takes meeting recordings and creates tasks with the right owners assigned. Another one my team can ask questions about our pipeline and get real answers. Another agent to speed up our follow ups and grow faster. People just started using it because it was so easy and already in the tool they open every morning. “I let a difficult customer churn instead of fighting to keep them. AITAH?” I’m an AE at a SaaS company managing a mix of mid-market and enterprise accounts. One of my customers has always been tough. Solid ARR, pays on time, usually renews. On paper, a good account. But over the past year, they’ve been increasingly difficult. Constant escalations, looping in leadership on small issues, and a tone with support and CS that’s rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Nothing dramatic in a single moment, but a clear pattern. I flagged it a few times. The response was basically that they’re valuable and we should manage it. A few weeks ago, we hit renewal. They asked for a discount and extra concessions. Normally, I would push to find a way to keep the account. This time, I didn’t. I held the line on pricing, didn’t escalate for approvals, and didn’t go out of my way to save it. I stayed professional, just… didn’t fight for it. They churned. Leadership wasn’t happy. The feedback was that I should have done more to retain a paying customer. At the same time, a few teammates thanked me. They were relieved not to deal with that account anymore.
