Mix and match your favorite map icons! In our latest ICONic release, we’ve added support for multiple icon sets so you can combine POIs, transportation, geometric patterns, and more; all from different sources, side by side on the same map. No more compromises between a great POI set and a great road shield set. No more hours wasted in graphics programs merging icons into a custom sprite. Most routing #APIs treat the world as a flat plane and billing as a guessing game. In our latest blog post, we break down MapTiler's upcoming Routing & Logistics API suite, including the Directions API (available to beta testers now), terrain-aware routing, predictable per-shift pricing, and why we're building it all into one unified platform. 🚀 Excited to Share My Latest Project – GreenMind AI 🌱 I'm happy to share that I've successfully completed and submitted GreenMind AI, an AI-powered gardening assistant built during the OpenAI Build Week Hackathon. GreenMind AI is designed to make gardening smarter and easier by bringing multiple AI-powered features together in one platform. 🌿 Key Features ✅ AI Gardening Assistant ✅ AI Weather Hub ✅ AI Plant Doctor ✅ Smart Plant Recommendations ✅ Plant Library ✅ AI Marketplace ✅ Garden Tasks & Analytics ✅ Dark Mode & Responsive Design 🛠️ Tech Stack React TypeScript Vite Node.js Vercel OpenWeather API Perenual API MapTiler API One of the biggest challenges was integrating external APIs while keeping the application reliable and user-friendly. During development, I learned a lot about full-stack development, deployment, API integration, debugging, UI/UX improvements, and building scalable applications. A special thanks to OpenAI Codex and GPT-5.6, which helped me accelerate development, debug issues, refactor code, and improve the overall architecture of the project. This project has been an amazing learning experience, and I'm excited to continue improving GreenMind AI with more advanced AI capabilities in the future. Estimating your monthly mapping and geocoding bill just got much easier. Instead of guessing how many individual searches a user will make, MapTiler #Geocoding Sessions provide predictable pricing. A session allows almost unlimited interaction within a single search task, only resetting after 6 hours, 10,000 geocoding requests, or a browser reload. Take control of your costs and maximize your #ROI without sacrificing usability. Read our blog to get more info and links to the SDK docs here: https://lnkd.in/evqp3zEp

Building a search box is easy, but delivering the right results takes precision. The MapTiler #Geocoding control lets you configure exactly how your users find places. Set up autocomplete and typing predictions, draw custom search areas, or limit results to specific countries and bounding boxes. Whether you need to prioritize nearby results or set a specific search language, our API gives you the control to build a better user experience. Should I pay $30 a month for a maps provider or $6000? Uhhh... let me think about that, I think I'll choose the 30usd. Reading Maps has exploded in traffic so my free trial ran out of credits and I upgraded to a $30 per month plan with MapTiler. But I was curious and had a look at some of the other providers and with the current amount of traffic the site is getting and should get a month based on daily growth, it would cost me around $6k to go with another provider. Absolutely ludicrous! Thank you but no thank you. I think I'll stay (happily) with MapTiler. 😊

Georeferencing #GaussianSplat models! This is seriously cool, out of beta and available to everyone!!!
Positioning your 3D models geographically should not require complex workflows. With MapTiler GeoSplats, georeferencing splats is straightforward. Our pipeline accepts standard .ply files generated by drone captures or 360 cameras. Once uploaded, you can use our visual 3D editor to place your model in its exact geographic location, then tilt, scale, and rotate it with high precision over your choice of basemap. Start building your 3D world models today. Check out the SDK documentation: https://lnkd.in/e-Y9t-7Q #GaussianSplats #GaussianSplatting #WebGPU #3D #DigitalTwin
