Amazing that so many of the marlo team who worked on the initial Yvonne's launch are still part of the team today. Brian Charron designed the brand identity, menus, biz cards, etc. and Ariel Sasso Gardner, MBA took the lead on the opening PR launch, with a creative - at the time! - Instagram campaign that had everyone talking. Here's to another 10 years!
Happiest of anniversaries to one of marlo marketing's most beloved clients, COJE Management Group, as they celebrate 10 years of Yvonne's. So much has changed since Christopher P. Jamison & Mark Malatesta first announced that the guys - known then for little more than a dimly lit sexy Mexican spot in Back Bay - were taking over the space that had housed Boston's storied Locke-Ober for over a century. Many were not amused, but where others failed, they not only delivered but exceeded every expectation. Their vision of respect for the past coupled with what all Bostonians now recognize as "COJE cheekiness" hit it out of the park from day one. As Rebecca Kilbreath wrote in her Editor's Letter in restaurant development + design magazine after a visit in 2023: "Rarely does a restaurant group manage to hit the trifecta: beautiful spaces that are an experience in and of themselves, a highly engaged hospitality team that makes dining fun and effortless and, to top it off, the food is actually great!" It's been a joy to have worked with this team over the past 15 years, and to have played a part in Yvonne's and all their subsequent spots. A huge thanks and congratulations to all we've worked with over the years, and a special shout out to Chris whose creative vision combined with a laser focus on every detail created a restaurant group none of us can imagine this city without.
