✈️ Great friendships tend to share things in common. For Greg and Stephen, one of those things is a kidney. Meeting in the fourth grade, Greg Scohy and Stephen Lambert have been close friends their entire lives. When Scohy started experiencing kidney complications due to diabetes in 2014, Lambert didn't need to think twice before offering his kidney to his childhood best friend. The pair got to experience the recovery process together and filled it with laughter. Just over a decade later, the pair is thriving. For many in need of a kidney transplant, a living donor like Lambert gives them their best chance at recovery. A crucial part of any transplant operation is also blood donations provided to healthcare centers like U-M Health. Register through the American Red Cross Michigan Region using the sponsor code "goblue" to donate blood during this year's blood battle. If you are interested in being an organ donor, you can learn more through Wolverines for Life. To read Lambert and Scohy's full story, use the link https://michmed.org/927Kb
