Midlife is a time of change—and at Midi, our Nurse Practitioners are here to help women navigate it with clarity, confidence, and care. This week, in honor of National Nurse Practitioner Week, we’re highlighting the clinicians who make that possible every day. Today, meet Moriah Patashnik: Moriah shares, “I became a Nurse Practitioner to help people understand their bodies and feel their best. Root-cause medicine—treating the underlying issue, not just the symptoms—keeps me motivated every day.” She’s passionate about supporting women through perimenopause and menopause: “Helping women feel seen and understood during a stage often overlooked is incredibly rewarding. Guiding them with evidence-based care empowers them to feel confident and in control of their health.” A myth Moriah wants to bust: “Midlife is not something to dread. This stage can be vibrant and empowering—better than you might think!” Her advice for women noticing hormonal changes: “Listen to your body early. With the right knowledge and support, you can feel strong, balanced, and confident through this transition.” Thank you, Moriah — and to all NPs leading the way in women’s health. 💗

HR PROFESSIONALS: Open enrollment is your moment—the time when all the work you’ve done negotiating, planning, and prioritizing benefits truly shines. 🌟 But even the most thoughtfully designed benefits packages may still have opportunities to grow—especially when it comes to supporting women in midlife. Women who responded to a recent Midi survey said their employers provide nearly 3️⃣ times more support for family planning as they do for perimenopause/menopause—life stages every woman experiences. As Midi’s VP of People Gabrielle Lorestani explains, this leaves many women silently struggling during a critical stage of their lives. You can easily change that (yep, even at this stage in the benefits season). 🚨 If Midi is in-network with your organization's health plan, you can give your employees access to insurance-covered, expert menopause care today. 🚨 ➡️Learn more and check your coverage at joinmidi.com/for-employers. ➡️ And for more on our survey findings, check out our report done in partnership with Lauren Smith Brody of workforce strategy firm The Fifth Trimester: https://lnkd.in/eVF4ptwh

This week is National Nurse Practitioner Week. At Midi, our clinicians are more than providers—they’re advocates, educators, and partners in care. All week, we’ll introduce you to the clinicians who show up every day to ensure women are heard, taken seriously, and cared for with expertise and empathy. Today, we’re highlighting Midi clinician Allyn Ann Simpson. Allyn Ann shares, “So many women have been searching for a listening ear for years. Being able to help a patient feel heard, provide answers, and see them start to feel better is the most rewarding part of my work.” She also notes a common misconception: “Labs are only part of the picture. In perimenopause, it’s crucial to treat the person, not just the numbers.” Her advice for women noticing hormone changes? “See a provider early. Perimenopause can last a decade — having support along the journey is essential for thriving, not just surviving.” Thank you, Allyn Ann — and thank you to all Nurse Practitioners leading the way in women’s health.

Big news in women’s health today. Midi’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Mindy Goldman breaks down what it means — and why it matters. The FDA is officially removing the black box warning from many HRT products for menopause — a major win for the evidence-based care that all women deserve and that we’re proud to offer at Midi. For years, that warning label scared countless women away from hormone therapy that could improve quality of life and long-term health. The truth? Most women are good candidates for HRT — and the risks and benefits should always be part of a personal conversation between a woman and her clinician, not dictated by an outdated label. At Midi, we’re here to make that conversation easier — with expert guidance and personalized care so every woman can make the choice that’s right for her. Today’s FDA decision is a significant step forward. Here’s to science, progress, and women feeling their best

Abby (right) came across a LinkedIn post from Self-Insured Schools of California Executive Director of Health Benefits, Nicole Mata — and it changed her life. Abby felt desperate after a doctor dismissed her menopause symptoms as “all in her head." 👂 She wasn't being listened to. ⏳ There were long wait times for care in her area. 🤷♀️ And she wasn't sure she could swing more time off from work to see the several specialists she thought she'd need to find answers. Learning that our expert care was covered under her health insurance, Abby met with a clinician and says she saw benefits almost immediately. And the post from Nicole that led her to Midi? "Heaven sent," Abby says. Yesterday, Abby told her story at SISC's 2025 Healthcare Symposium. Joined by Midi Chief Clinical Officer Mindy Goldman (left), they shared why women shouldn't wait to get the care they need—and the impact managers can have on women's lives when they connect them to it.

Testosterone sounds scary for many women - and we are here to demystify it at Midi Health. Testosterone fluctuations don’t just impact men. By menopause, women can lose up to 50%** of their natural testosterone. That drop can contribute to: Decreased libido Low energy and fatigue Brain fog and mood swings Muscle and bone weakness Women are often scared to try testosterone - Many fear developing male-like physical traits, such as a deeper voice, excessive body or facial hair, and male-pattern baldness. But this does not happen if you monitor the dosage and don't overdo it. Also, we strongly suggest avoiding pellets and using a cream formulation instead so you can control dosing. It was great for Midi Health to be featured in this NYT article on testosterone - and you may want to try it - you can see me here demonstrating how to apply! https://lnkd.in/gDpSXUei

There’s a hormone care gap in the U.S., and we’re working to close it.
