Serious Eats launched their first-ever gear awards. Guess who has 5 dots and was awarded best roasting pan of 2025? Misen 💙 "Unlike most of its kind, this roasting pan has low sides for maximum air circulation. It's around the same size as a half-sheet pan, and this shallow design ensures golden roast chicken and turkey every time." https://lnkd.in/gHJp-MSv

Cookware for people who actually cook. No gimmicks and honestly priced.
About us
Hey, we're Misen. That's pronounced "mee-zen." What's it mean? We're glad you asked. Misen comes from "mise en place"—a cheffy term that means “to put in place.” For us, it means having the right tools to prep, cook, and serve with confidence, whether you're a beginner cook or a seasoned pro. We’re a small group of passionate home cooks and product experts who've been living our dream of making great cookware for over a decade. We launched our first-ever product on Kickstarter back in 2015: a premium Chef’s Knife that we still sell today. The project wildly exceeded our goal, raising over $1 million and setting Kickstarter records. Since then, we’ve slowly grown into a full-fledged cookware company. We make products that we want to use in our own kitchens to make cooking easier, less stressful, and more efficient. And we’re constantly talking to customers to learn about their kitchen challenges so we can design products to solve them. Yes, AI can handle WISMO and other low level tasks, but the best customer experiences are made by a full time employee with culinary training, based in the US, who has used and owns all of our products. Oh, really? That's just us? Bummer for the other guys... Come join an effective and empowered team at Misen: Oh, and a finance role is coming next week... https://lnkd.in/g8mGKvxQ

"The Cadillac of Nonstick: The Genius Misen Carbon Nonstick Frying Pan Is in a Class of Its Own" That's the headline and the article is even more flattering. 💙 https://lnkd.in/g_A2HfbG

We agree Food Network, the Misen Fish Spatula is indeed the best! "As one of the least expensive options on our list, we were shocked by this spatula’s ability to flip delicate fish filets, handle thick burger patties and turn pancakes with ease. We loved the size and shape of this spatula; its compact, yet flexible, design made maneuvering underneath and between food in tight spaces a breeze. The silicone edge makes it safe for use in nonstick pans but doesn’t impact its ability to get under stuck-on food. Did we mention that it’s also dishwasher safe? Overall, this Misen Fish Spatula is a top-performing, inexpensive tool that is sure to become your go-to utensil for cooking fish, eggs, burgers and more." https://lnkd.in/gtcKp4UX

Hot off the press, a glowing review of Carbon Nonstick™ from The Strategist! We couldn’t have said it better ourselves… “As the Strategist’s kitchen and dining writer, I find myself inundated with brands telling me how they’ve innovated in the cookware space — and a lot of the time, it’s with some sort of hybrid pan that’s supposed to be better than any of those on their own. However, I’ve never found an alternative I love — until now. Misen’s new carbon nonstick skillet is what it sounds like [and] so far, I’ve been exceedingly impressed.” https://lnkd.in/gsDBvQr6

Another week, another new position at Misen: Head of Customer Service and Engagement As always, this position is NOT what most companies hire for 💙 Our behavior demonstrates our customer focus: -We listen to our customers and iterate products based on their feedback, in some cases less than 30 days after launch -We maintain 7 day messaging coverage despite our small team. 100% of our CS is covered by US W2s who own all our cookware and have culinary training. Customers who speak with our CS team in fact spend 20% more! -We reply to every comment on social media sponsored or not. Unlike most companies, we are not hiring for this role to start nor fix a customer issue, but to help us refine and scale what we're doing well. Who wants in? 🚀 https://lnkd.in/gjHdE7cs

Misen is growing 🚀 and hiring again 🤘 We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Development Operations Manager to help scale our growing portfolio of kitchen tools and cookware. This is a hands-on role focused on the development, launch, and lifecycle management of physical products. Reporting to the Director of Product, you will help to streamline processes from concept to customer, collaborating across R&D, Operations, Creative, and Marketing to bring exceptional products to life. The ideal candidate has experience in consumer goods or CPG, is fluent in the nuts and bolts of physical product workflows (SKU creation, BOMs, cost tracking), and thrives in a fast-moving environment. This is not a tech PM role — we're looking for someone who understands the operational backbone of product development in the physical goods space. We encourage you to apply anytime before the 8/17/2025 deadline but please know that we will not reply to candidates or begin to schedule interviews until 8/18/2025. https://lnkd.in/gjHdE7cs

It's always fun when one of our "quieter" products gets a nod. Food & Wine just named our cutting mat "Best Flexible Mat For Daily Use." Clearly we agree—that's why we put "flexible" right in the name. "A truly lightweight cutting board...Our favorite feature was the genuinely flexible construction: Rather than pulling out a bench scraper or using a knife spine to push ingredients into a bowl or skillet, we could pick up and flex the entire board into a U shape to form a funnel." https://lnkd.in/e7nstWrw

Our whisk is the best! That's according to Serious Eats (and us). It's awesome when a publication calls out the exact features we prioritized when designing a thing: - strong, thoughtfully spaced wires for max aeration - super comfortable silicone handle (no sore wrists) - dishwasher safe! Oh and it's also heat-safe up to 450º so you can leave it in the saucepan while you're browning butter. https://lnkd.in/dnnzmCZ9
