We just wrapped up our annual Sunday Night Spotlight event – Bites & Beats – during the National Restaurant Association Show (NRA) in Chicago earlier this month. This annual gathering is more than a celebration — it’s a showcase of how Ecolab, our customers, and the ProStart Program come together to invest in the future of the restaurant and hospitality industry. From food truck concepts brought to life by ProStart students, to a live performance by Grammy-nominated artist Shaboozey, the night was a vibrant reminder that we’re all working to win together, the right way. This event reflects our customer-first mindset, our commitment to best-in-class partnerships and performance, and our belief in nurturing the next generation of talent. A big congratulations to the student teams from Wekiva High School and Bonita High School who earned a trip to NRA. We’re proud to stand alongside ProStart, our customers and our communities in shaping what’s next — and we’re just getting started. See you at the next spotlight!

Highlighting the New Move Cohort Success! Dedicated people doing the ultimately "human work" of lifting people up! This was "New Move's" first cohort in Washington state and was part of a super successful LeveledUp Reentry initiative. As a part of the process participants achieved the Guest Service Gold Certified Guest Professional (CGSP) certification. This industry-recognized credential proved foundational for the cohort members, providing them with critical customer service skills and as a result opening doors to numerous job opportunities. It’s been a truly rewarding experience for both instructors and participants. One particularly touching takeaway was hearing how many participants felt that learning customer service skills was the first time they’d been shown how to communicate effectively in a professional setting. A participant said to me, "This was the first time I was taught how to speak to people." The transformation was remarkable. A huge shoutout to Tay Booker and the entire Leveled Up Reentry team for their dedication and hard work. If you’re interested in learning more or implementing a similar model in your area, please reach out to me or Tay .
