In his talk, “𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀?”, the message was clear: 𝗶𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗮𝗽, 𝟲𝗚 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬.   ⚠️ While many actors are still focused on catching up in 5G, 𝟲𝗚 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟬) 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱. Decisions taken now on architecture, performance and features, will determine whose industrial priorities 6G will serve and who leads in the next decade. ⌛ 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲. 🚀 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. At Techritory 2025 in Riga 🇱🇻, 𝗦𝗡𝗦 𝗝𝗨 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 Erzsébet Fitori outlined Europe's strategic vision for 6G under the concept of a Federated Intelligence Network. In her Keynote entitled '𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲'𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗯𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟬', she highlighted that: ✨ 6G extends beyond telecommunications to propose a new industrial structure built on intelligence, interoperability, and trust. It will be networks capable of sensing the environment, objects, motion, and context. These new capabilities give rise to fantastic opportunities. ▪️Success will come from large-scale trials uniting space with ground connectivity, industry verticals and AI innovators. Cooperation through federation, standardisation and interoperability with EU defence frameworks is also essential. ▪️We need to accelerate research in the field of resilience, and translate European innovations into commercial success. The 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association is proud to be leading the work of the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) #Technology_Board (TB), comprised of the Technical Managers of all active #SNSJU projects. This past week the #TB met for its 4th Face-to-Face meeting at Telefonica facilities in Madrid, Spain. The Technical Managers of the 78 active SNS JU projects engaged in lively discussions during work sessions covering R&I to #Standards roadmaps and best practices, #AI data & models sharing and reuse and future #TB activities. The Technical Managers of the #SNSJU projects also confirmed their trust in #6G-IA's Kostas (Konstantinos) Trichias, re-electing him at the position of #TB Chairman for a 3rd term.
