𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟗𝐭𝐡 Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by recurrent thrombosis, pregnancy complications, and a range of non-thrombotic manifestations. Patients with APS develop persistent antibodies directed against phospholipids and/or phospholipid-binding plasma proteins. APS may occur as a primary condition or in association with other autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
