I have been LONGING for a sexy new Sitebulb feature to talk about and this is definitely it. Or, "find the latest audit for [domain] and summarise the top technical SEO risks." Let your imagination run wild... No code needed, no exporting then uploading spreadsheets, or screenshotting Sitebulb reports - literally all you need to do is ask. Sitebulb MCP is coming very soon! Arguably more excited about this Sitebulb collab with snark royalty Jamie Indigo than I am about the Sitebulb MCP announcement.

  • 📣 EXCITING NEWS! Sitebulb MCP is coming soon — so your favourite AI assistant can connect directly to your Sitebulb audit data. No code needed, just ask Claude or ChatGPT and it will retrieve exactly what it needs directly from Sitebulb: your projects, your audits, your URLs, your history. Ask it to summarize the latest completed audit... Find the highest-severity issues... Inspect a specific URL... Compare this crawl with the previous one... List internal 404s... It's all grounded in real Sitebulb data, and all YOU have to do is ask. Designed to be safe and scoped, you control what access the assistant has. We'll be opening access to this in phases. So it's worth getting your name down early if you want to try it. Waitlist link in comments. #technicalseo #seo #mcp #sitebulbmcp

Unsolicited #SEO tip: There's a really neat report on Sitebulb for duplicate content that allows you to go past the usual "finding duplicate titles" to indicate clashes. ⚠️ The report separates out pages that have identical HTML, very similar content, page titles, and h1s. It's really helpful for non-standard content management systems, where sometimes duplicate content can sneak in under different titles. 😎 Disclaimer: Not a paid post, I don't do them. I was doing some work today and this particular report was very helpful to save time.

    • Screenshot of an SEO dashboard showing a "Duplicate Content Score" of 49, summary metrics with upward trends for duplicate content, page titles, and H1s, and a bar chart comparing the distribution of duplicate versus unique site elements.
  • For all the AI bros replacing their SEO team with an LLM... Yitzhak fayzak tested 3 leading AI models - Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude - on the same ranking drop. All 3 missed the actual cause. Gemini recommended backlinks and schema. ChatGPT suggested restructuring the site hierarchy. Claude recommended adding more content. None of them identified that the problem was a search intent reclassification triggered by Gemini's own earlier advice. Nobody is saying "AI tools are useless," but they cannot compete with the human insight that comes from manually documenting every page change for years and using that baseline to catch what the models couldn't. The tools were looking at how the page was built. He was looking at what Google understood the page to mean. It's a sharp case study, and the recovery data makes it worth reading in full. 👇 https://lnkd.in/exk2GdPy #seo #technicalseo #aisearch

Publishers have been losing search traffic for years. Most SEOs have been watching from a safe distance, thinking it's a publishing problem. But it's probably not just a publishing problem. Our #WTSPartner Sitebulb's next webinar brings together Harry Clarkson-Bennett (SEO Director, The Telegraph) and Jessie Willms (SEO Editor, The Guardian US) - one inside a paywall, one without - to unpick where publisher traffic is actually going, and whether AI search is the real culprit or a convenient scapegoat for a longer-running decline. Their take might be unpopular: that AI is getting blamed for something that was already well underway, and that misdiagnosis is what's costing people right now. Two senior SEOs, two very different approaches, one genuinely important conversation. We think you should come. 📅 Wednesday 13th, 4pm BST / 11am ET 🔗 Register here: https://lnkd.in/e4qrsBvF Can't make it live? Register anyway for the recording.
