  • Huge congratulations to our advisor and friend Gustavo Sánchez on successfully defending his PhD! 🎓                                 Gustavo's dissertation - "Attacking Learning-based Models in Smart Grids: Explainability as a Double-Edged Sword" - sits right at the intersection of AI and security, exactly the kind of research that shapes how we think about adversarial ML at SQUR. We're proud to have been a small part of his journey through our joint paper on assurance in autonomous pentesting agents, and even prouder to have him as a valued advisor to the team. The depth he brings to questions of trust, explainability, and AI safety has been invaluable as we build out autonomous pentesting at SQUR. Couldn't be happier for you, Dr. Sánchez - well deserved. Onwards! 🚀

Congratulations to Gustavo Sánchez Collado! We congratulate Gustavo Sánchez Collado to his successful PhD exam on the topic "Attacking Learning-based Models in Smart Grids: Explainability as a Double-Edged Sword", which took place on April 27, 2026. We would like to especially thank the external reviewer Prof. Barbara Hammer. Gustavo did his work within the KASTEL Institute and was supervised within the Institute of Automation and applied Informatics. In his dissertation, Gustavo Sanchez explores how Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) can provide an edge in cyberattacks and how to defend against it. • This is what we built. 33 checks, 60 seconds, zero guesswork.    Try it yourself: asm.squr.ai

33 security checks in 60 seconds. 𝗔𝘁 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁.                                Here's exactly what we look for when we scan your Attack Surface:                                                       🔒 TLS & HTTPS - Certificate health, cipher strength, protocol downgrades, redirect enforcement                                🛡️ HTTP Security - Security headers, cookie flags, well-known endpoints                                📧 Email Authentication - SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MTA-STS misconfigurations 🌐 DNS & Domain Intelligence - Record analysis, DNSSEC, CAA, WHOIS, reverse DNS, ASN mapping                                ☁️ Subdomain Discovery - Full enumeration + takeover detection across 22 cloud providers                                🔌 Ports & Services - High-risk port scanning, exposed service identification                                ⚠️ Known Vulnerabilities - Technology fingerprinting, JS library versions, real-time CVE matching against NVD                                 📁 Sensitive Exposure - .git, .env, login panels, environment leaks, cloud storage data leakage                                🏗️ Infrastructure - WAF/CDN detection, cloud asset fingerprinting, domain reputation                                📸 Continuous Monitoring - Visual screenshots and change detection between scans                                Most companies don't know what's exposed until someone else finds it first. We built this so you don't have to wait for that moment.  👉 See your results: asm.squr.ai

  • Security teams spend 60–70% of their time on manual validation and compliance mapping, not actual security work. That's exactly why we partnered with ShieldFlow. Together, we've collapsed the entire pentest-to-compliance pipeline into a single automated workflow: Describe your scope → Get validated, exploitable findings → Receive a audit-ready report No more weeks spent triaging false positives. No more copy-pasting findings into compliance templates. No more bottlenecks between your pentest vendor and your audit deadline. Real results for security teams that are stretched thin and under pressure to prove compliance faster.

Security teams don't have a tools problem. They have a workflow problem. You run a scanner. Get 200 unverified CVEs. Spend a week manually validating them. Then spend another week mapping findings into a SOC 2 report that your auditor will skim in 10 minutes. We built ShieldFlow to kill that cycle. 🛡️ Describe what you need tested in plain English. ShieldFlow's AI planner builds and executes the entire security workflow from reconnaissance to validated findings to a compliance-ready report mapped to the controls you actually care about. And today we're announcing something that takes this further: our collaboration with SQUR.ai 🤝 https://www.squr.ai SQUR brings autonomous pentesting that doesn't just scan headers. It chains exploits, tests auth flows, and proves real-world impact with validated evidence. We've integrated it directly into ShieldFlow with built-in guardrails (approval gates, scope boundaries) so the entire process stays safe and in your control. Prompt ➜ Pentest ➜ Final Report One pipeline. No bottleneck. ⚡ If your team is drowning in compliance work or you want to see autonomous AI pentesting in action, drop a comment or DM me 👇 #Cybersecurity #AIPentesting #SOC2 #ISO27001 #ShieldFlow #SQURai

  • We built SQUR Attack Surface because pentesting starts with a question most companies can't answer: What's actually visible on our domain right now? Not what you deployed last week. Not what's in your asset inventory. What an attacker sees. Right now. From the outside. Forgotten staging servers. Expired certificates. Dev environments still running from 2023. Admin panels with no WAF. Most companies have 3-5x more public-facing assets than they think. SQUR Attack Surface answers this question in 60 seconds. 31 security checks. 7,500+ technologies detected. Completely free. We're not selling a scanner. We're giving you the first step - because what comes after (verifying exploitability) is where SQUR Autonomous Pentesting takes over. See what's visible on your domain: https://asm.squr.ai #cybersecurity #attacksurface #infosec #appsec #startupsecurity #autonomouspentest

I just scanned my own company's attack surface. It took 60 seconds. SQUR Attack Surface found 15 assets on squr.ai - web servers, DNS infrastructure, mail servers. Across those, it flagged 39 findings: 3 high, 14 medium, 22 low. The top three to fix: → DMARC policy set to "none" (monitors email spoofing but doesn't prevent it) → Missing Strict-Transport-Security headers on multiple subdomains → Session cookies without SameSite flag None of this required credentials or authorization. Passive reconnaissance only - the same information any attacker can see from the outside. No signup. No credit card. Just enter your domain. Try yours: https://asm.squr.ai And yes, even SQUR has to continuously work on securing the infrastructure... #cybersecurity #attacksurface #infosec #autonomouspentest #appsec
