We’re excited to introduce the Elio XGS (Experimental Goods and Store): our R&D e-commerce shop for testing exploratory design concepts and emerging web technologies. The goal behind the XGS is to explore and showcase outside-the-box UX patterns and bleeding-edge techniques with rapid iteration. Because we're primarily interested in the experience of the site rather than selling goods, we can prioritize design and experimentation over conversion. As you can imagine, this is something most of our clients aren’t able to do. We'll be releasing new concepts and limited-run products on a regular basis, and we can't wait to share what we're working on next.
