It's been a week since BrightonSEO and I'm still digesting and coming down from the buzz of the event. It's always a great opportunity to network, reconvene and meet new people. 😎 This was my first time hosting BrightonSEO’s Paid Search roundtable, which was a real honour. It was great to see such demand for places, and I was sorry that we were left with such a long waiting list. We controlled the numbers to ensure that the time was productive, and that those attending got the most out of the flow of conversation, apologies to those who weren't able to join us. Hoping those on the waiting list can join future sessions. 💪 This roundtable covered interesting topics from AI & automation, through to measurement & attribution into what the future of search looks like in 2026 and beyond. 🤖 Furthermore its always a pleasure to catch up with wider industry friends and tackle trending topics. Such areas which caught my interest this time round were: • Many brands and agencies are seeing Brand CPCs increasing • A few businesses across our industry are moving brand budget to GEO optimisation • Many of us are looking at ‘holistic search’ budgets. Combining Paid Search and SEO as one budget. • There is a double serving of Google’s ads within the SERPs. How is this impacting performance? • Using Performance Max is a great way to audit and influence SEO strategy. • Feed optimisations are what's going to be the key strength moving forward. • People's roles will change to be more strategic. • User behaviour is changing rapidly. Strategies and tactics need to be reviewed and changed every 6 months. It was a pleasure meeting new people and making new industry friends Aedín O'Neill Ayfer Sarıyer Ashley Emery Benjamin Davis Chloe Waight Darshan Modi Divya Patel Eleftherios Darousis Elvir Likić Kat Pouwer Katie Noel Lukas O. Marisol Mercado Nathan Evans Rick Walker Rushabh Shah Toby Gould Tom Hart and I hope to see more of you at future roundtables! On a separate note, fantastic talks from Matt Beswick António Miguel Lima and Sarah Barker 👏 Apologies if I missed anyone! #brightonseo #paidmedia #performancemarketing #networking #paidmedianetworking #mediadiscussions #mediaproblems
