  • Last weekend, we had the honor of hosting an official Framer Meetup in Jakarta, and it was a blast! 🎉 Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, shared their energy, asked questions, and sparked conversations. 🙌 Special shoutout to our speakers and panelists, Ritchie Permadi, Agnes Andreyana, Julyo, Prinvia Prichariel, and Widya Bayu Wicaksono for sharing their insights. Big thanks as well to our moderator Prasaja, and Dimas from Sit Talk Design for supporting the event. And of course, thank you Framer for trusting us as the official host and for providing snacks, drinks, and merch 👀. It was inspiring to see fellow designers and creators come together to connect and learn from each other. Here are some snapshots from the event 📸 Can’t wait to see you all again at the next meetup! #FramerMeetup #Framer #Jakarta

Do we need another design conference? My personal opinion: absolutely yes. In Indonesia, a conference that truly focuses on Branding & Design is still nonexistent. So, we’re building one. Yet, being a design studio means we have our limitations, which is why we’re teaming up with Surd Studio as our development partner to bring the entire digital environment to life from the ground up. The Design Conference has had a tremendous impact on me personally—especially through its self-nomination process. The results show that keynotes handpicked with intent can be far more valuable than those chosen solely based on popularity. Inspired by this, we’re adapting that model and taking it further by inviting Aulia Akbar & Sisiana Pradita as our keynote curators. We’re also designing the entire process to be as open as possible, while still maintaining a for-profit model. The reason is simple: we want this conference to become an open experiment for everyone to learn from and witness. You can check our progress, budgeting, and milestones anytime at www.badconference.id Indonesia is a huge country. Who knows, someone might build another conference that’s even bigger than what we’re initiating this year. And if that happens, I’ll gladly sit in the audience and enjoy the show. So, back to the first question: do we need another design conference? We’re letting the people decide—you included of course 😉 Visual below: A simple generative artwork as a token of appreciation and gratitude for our Catalyst Patrons—individuals who go the extra mile to support this movement through their financial contribution.

  • 🎉 Overwhelmed by the incredible response to attend Framer Meetup Jakarta! Thank you all for the amazing enthusiasm. By popular demand, we're expanding from 30 to 50 slots! 📈 But please note that Framer swags will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We're truly sorry we can't accommodate everyone due to room capacity limits. For those we couldn't fit in this time, you'll be our top priority for the next meetup—we promise! Thank you for understanding, can't wait to see everyone soon! 🙌

Last Monday, Studio Yord hosted our very first Design Learning Club, where we invited Ritchie Permadi & Agnes Andreyana from Surd Studio to take the stage and dive deep into the world of generative art. They led the class beautifully, and I could truly feel the excitement and enthusiasm from all the participants. Eight people gathered to tinker with code and create their own iteration of “Dwelling.” While the participants and facilitators were busy getting nerdy with design, my team and I took on the role of literally serving. We cooked, we brewed, and made sure everyone was well-fed and energized. Ken Lingga successfully cooked us a complete Indonesian meal—from bakwan down to urap and nasi gurih. This dude definitely cooked. This turned out to be a truly interesting experience—a fresh and fun way to explore design, enjoy ourselves, and make friends who share the same passion. For us, it was also a chance to step away from the usual stress, and simply serve so everyone could have a great time. And this, in itself, was a very rewarding experience. Thank you for joining our very first in-depth class Alief Brahmarizky R. Almira Meisya Fadhlika Danu Ardhata Gita Sulistiyo rafi rabbani Luwina Febriani Steven Alexander! See you at the next Design Learning Club 🥰

  • From an idea to an Awwwards nomination! 🎉 This project started as a creative experiment, blending mysticism with digital interaction to craft a tarot reading experience that feels both intuitive and immersive. Super excited to be recognized among so many inspiring works!
