Meet Alejandro! 😁 Alejandro started working with Press Glass in March of 2019 shortly after the commissioning of the plant in Ridgeway, VA. 🏭 He was one of the first employees working in the insulated glass department. When joining the Press Glass team, Alejandro faced the challenges: he needed to learn about glass, operating machines, and computer systems as well as the overall glass fabrication process. Alejandro showed immense dedication and perseverance 🙇♂️ in mastering his role by taking notes during training and studying them at home. Through this extra effort, he was able to become an expert operator and be an asset to the IGU department. Alejandro's hard work paid off and he has been promoted to team lead and coordinates a group of 10 of his colleagues. 👥 Something to note about Alejandro is that it is rare to see him on the production floor without a smile on his face! 😁 #employeespotlight #outstandingemployee #pressglass

👋Boynton Yards in Somerville, MA is a building with a noble purpose and we are proud to have our glass included there! This 9-story, 289,000 square foot building boasts 130,000 square feet of insulated glass with Argon in the airspace for optimal insulation and with custom color digital print. Boynton Yards functions as a lab building where inside there are state-of-the-art research and development spaces that encourage life science companies to make breakthrough discoveries in human health. Meet Parcel 17, also known as the Whitman-Walker Clinic. Located in Washington, D.C., and functioning as a health center specializing in serving the city’s LGBTQ community. 🏥 The clinic caters to a variety of healthcare needs with a pharmacy on the ground floor and various avenues of clinical care and research occupying the top four. This building is clad approximately 36k sqft. of high-quality insulating glass to help achieve optimal energy performance throughout its 6 stories.
